I heard and saw people rejoicing as their home was saved, but Link was in no mood to join them, and I was in no shape. It became harder to breathe with every step he took, and he panted from the run to the northern part of Clock Town. He sprinted across the grass with me in his arms, and ran up a small hill.

"We're here, Sakura!" Link went a few more steps, then started to walk slowly. He sat down with me in his lap, and I closed my eyes.

"How is she doing?" I heard Tatl ask.

"She's so cold..." he answered, and I could hear the fear and worry in his voice. "It's like her whole body is an icicle." I felt his warm hand on my chest. "Her heart is still beating, but just barely."

"Great Fairy!" Tatl yelled into the fountain that I heard. I knew it was from the trickling water sounds, and the amount of light that came through my eyelids was very little. "Sakura is in trouble! Please, help us!"

I then heard a woman's giggle, and a louder high-pitched laugh came up then. I opened my eyes to slits again, seeing the familiar face of the Great Fairy of Magic, and trying my very best to smile and say hi. Her hair moved up and down while she laid on her stomach in the air with her arms crossed in front of her.

She saw my attempt to smile, and smiled herself. "Hello, again. It seems that you are in quite a bind, aren't you?"

"Please, save her!" Link yelled, and I moved my eyes to his face. "She can't go like this. I'll do anything, please!"

I looked back at the Great Fairy, and she shook her head. "You've already saved Termina and given its freedom. For that I thank you, and now I will return the favor." She looked at me, and all of a sudden I started glowing. Link let me go in surprise, and I closed my eyes again, feeling weightless and relaxed. "Hmm, it seems that I will need to have my sisters help me." She paused then, using her mind to call them.

I felt four more fairies appear in the fountain, and was lifted into the air. I felt Link staring at me in wonder as I went up, and I listened closely to the conversation that came as I was being healed by the four Great Fairies of Termina.

"Don't worry, she is safe with us. But tell me young hero, I don't mean to be rude, but what is Sakura to you?"

I opened my ears as Link thought about it, and he spoke not long after she asked. "She's the best friend I've ever had. Even though we've known each other for a short time, I feel like...I've known her all my life. She was so happy all the time...even when she was in so much pain. And even though she doesn't know it..." I felt him look up with a smile. "She's made this adventure that much more amazing. That's why...she means everything to me."

I opened my eyes all the way this time, my heart beating like crazy. That was it. That was what I wanted I hear from him all this time. I smiled and closed my eyes again, feeling satisfied with everything now. The Fairies made the final touches, and I floated back down to Link with my eyes closed to look like I was sleeping. I felt Link catch me with his arms outstretched, and I breathed in rhythm.

"She will be fine now, she just needs to sleep. And one more thing before you go. Tell her that Zelda would be so proud of her, because she has done so much more than save our home. Goodbye young ones."

The fairy disappeared into her fountain, and I finally dozed off into a deep sleep in Link's arms.

My eyes opened to the Hyrule Castle courtyard. When I realized that I was back in Hyrule, I felt my heart jump with happiness. But as I looked closer, I noticed that everything about the yard was fuzzy, like it was shimmering a little. I knew then that it was a dream.
