I wake up sweating, James went on business and hasn't returned I'm getting worried they say he'll be back but they said that then, and he never came back. I start crying and grab my blanket and stuffed dog. I walk to James room I open the door and walk to the bed. James had a maid put glow in the dark space stickers in his room to make me feel comfortable here. I go to the bed and hear growling I turn on the bed side light and see shadow on the bed snarling at me. I get scared and fall I scoot back terrified.

"I..I'm...s..sorry..I...c..couldn't..s..sleep." I stutter I cover my head and curl in a ball. I hear the bed squeak and a cold nose nudges my arms. I slowly lower my arms and see shadow laying down with his head on my feet.

"Your not so scary are you." I say petting his head, he huffs making me giggle. He gets up and jumps on the bed. I go to leave and he growls I freeze scared. He gose in front of me and pushes me toward the bed. I lay in bed and cover my self I lay on my side he lays behind me and I fall asleep.

I wake up with shadow by my feet. I smile and climb out I take a shower and hear creaking. Shadow probably left I finish showering and dry off with a towel a get dressed and put my hair in a messy bun I go down stairs and see a body on the couch. I turn the kitchen light on and see it's James. When did he get here, why is he on the couch. I start making breakfast for everyone, and I get a chill.

"Shadow, go wake up James please." I whisper to shadow he the only one I talk to, hell growl at me if I don't. But only when it's just us. Shadow gose over and pulls James arm out of bed. I make coffee and grab a cup.

"Hey, nightlight when did you wake up." He asks yawning. He walks over and he's in sweat pants and a black t-shirt. I smile and make him a plate of pancakes eggs and bacon. I get him a cup of coffee and set plates down.

"Morning moon." Brady says he sits down and the maids give him his food and paper.

-dont forget Patty has to help cat, so you need to tell the daycare Tommy will be absent.- Alexa says, James got this for me once I found out who he is." I still don't know why he left or if he loves me or using me. But I like it here so I'll wait and see.

"Thanks remind me to pay the nanny tommorow." He says rincimg off his plate he puts it in the dishwasher I give him his lunch and he leaves to work.

"Sup moon. Has cat came down yet." Justin says I shake my head the maids give him his food he puts his phone down and eats.

"Moon. Patty needs your help Tommy won't go until you get him." Cats says I chuckle and go upstairs.

James POV

"Did I come to the right house?" I ask and scare them.

"Damn dude when you get here." Justin asks.

"Why are you still in p.js" cats asks

"I got here last night, I just woke up before Brady left I slept on the couch" I say and they look at me.

"Shadow kicked me out of the bed when I tried to lay with her. I didn't want her to freak if I was on my couch so I slept here." I say

"Awww. Brothers in love." Cat says and patty comes in with Susie and Johnny.

"He's liked her since she was in highschool. He would pick her up everyday and take her to work." She says they laugh.

"He would be in the back and watched her work." Nancy says.

"It didn't help that he Co owned the business." Justin says and they start laughing.

"Mommy. Can I have cheese ice cream."  Tommy asks she puts him in a high chair and they bring him a big jar of ice cream they give him a spoon and he eats cheese.
