Dom's POV

1327, where it all begins and ends.

For this family, home has a deeper meaning. Family has a deeper meaning.

Barbecue going, table being set, Spanish music playing in the background. This is where home is.

We lost a family member, I just hope we don't lose anymore anytime soon.

"Don't burn it this time please?" Roman said to Tej as he approached the grill.

"I never go and burn it man." Tej replied.

"Good food." Brian said as he was holding Jack, his son.

"The air quality here is lousy, the traffic is bad, but I think you'll learn to like this place."

"Yeah, and here you've got your own garage, so you can build a car with daddy." Mia added in.

"We'll be building a car?" Brian asked.

"First car better be a charger Jack." I cut in, standing next to Letty."

Brian laughed. "You mean skyline." He corrected.

I chucked. "Like I said, he's a Toretto."

"You're confusing the kid." Brian told me.

"Mia, you're gonna let him get away with this?" I said to Mia as we walked over towards them.

Carmen's POV

I missed that home. The laughs, the crappy air circulation. I stand their, getting broken out of my thoughts when I hear Roman being..well Roman.

"Hey, Mia, you better hide your baby oil. I'm just playing." He said talking about Hobbs since he was walking up the driveway with a woman..that woman.

"You better hide that big-a** forehead." Hobbs said as I laughed, Tej spitting out his beer.

"I was just joking, but whatever. Definitely not that funny." Roman muttered.

Hobbs walked up to Dom saying we were all free.

"It wasn't half bad having you work for me." Hobbs said to Dom.

Dom stopped looking at the woman and said "We all know you were working for me, Hobbs."

We all laughed.

"Agree to disagree." Brian said, which effectively ended the playful argument.

"Good luck." Hobbs said, turning to leave.

Letty then walked up to the woman and I walked to stand by Tej and Roman.

"Elena?"

"Letty." Elena said.

Roman and Tej turn to one another.

"This is gonna be awkward..." Roman started.

"..but sexy as hell." Tej finished.

"Shut up, I'm trying to listen." I said, hitting them both in the chest gently, causing them both to laugh and Tej to slide his hand to hold mine.

"I wanted to thank you for everything you've done for him. For us. It takes an amazing woman." Letty said.

"He's an amazing guy." Elena replied.

They were right..kinda awkward, but I'm still going to listen.

"Try to keep him out of trouble, huh?" Elena said to Letty, smiling slightly.

Which causes Letty to laugh. "Now, you know that's not gonna happen."

"I know." Elena replied, laughing along.

I look over and Dom and Hobbs are comforting each other again, talking about their trust for cops and criminals.

"Elena." Dom called out, which caused her to turn around so he could catch up with her.

"You know you don't have to go." I heard him tell her.

"All this... This is your family. It's who you are." She said, picking up her badge.

"This is my family. This is who I am."

She then kissed him in the cheek before turning around leaving.

I caught up with her after she turned the corner, making sure no one saw me.

"Hey, Elena. ¿Sabe él?"

"No... Él no."
