Chapter 34:
Lay's POV-
I yawned as I lazily got out of bed. Putting on my casual clothes, I walk outside and the smell of breakfast greets me as usual. I sat on the counter.
"What's for today?"
"Bacon pancakes with mashed potatoes."
"Is it just me or does everything you cook has to do with bacon?"
"It's just you." D.O said as he poured the bacon pancake mixture into the pan, making a sizzling sound.
"Ok....." I said awkwardly and shifted myself.
Quite some time later, the members came down one by one and greeted each other.
"So....how was the celebration yesterday??" Suho asked excitedly as he tugged Chanyeol's shoulder.
"Duh, of course it was good. It was planned by me after all."
"Pfft.....HAHAHAHAHAHA!!" All of us burst into laughter, even Kyungsoo who was far away was grinning.
"Yah!!! I'm not that bad of a planner!"
"Oh really? The last time I recalled, it was on our latest mission when you burnt a portion of your hair." I struggled to talk properly.
"That was a minor accident! I underestimated, that's all!"
"Hahahaha. Yeah....right..." Chen laughed.
"Guys, breakfast is ready." Kyungsoo said as he laid the food on the dinner table.
All of us sat down except Chanyeol who was walking towards the door.
"Having breakfast with Seiren?" Xiumin asked.
"Ding! I'll be going now, so bye." Chanyeol said and left.
"Man....he sure is one lucky guy." Kris sighed.
"Yeah, never expected Seiren to pick him haha." Luhan chucked.
"Well...unexpected things happen." Sehun said.
"Oh yeah...by the way guys, tonight is the mission right?" Kai reminded.
"Yeah....I almost forgot, thanks for reminding us." Tao thanked.
"It's gonna be a long night ahead of us..." Baekhyun took a deep breath while we nodded.
"Anyway.......let's stop talking and start eating!!" Kai exclaimed and started chugging down food.
Chanyeol's POV-
"So where do you want to go for breakfast?" I asked while clutching Seiren's hands.
"Well, I always wanted to try out the food in this cafe near the corner of the road. I heard it's really nice."
"Ok sure, let's go."
*~15 minutes later*
This place was like what Seiren said. It was a nicely decorated place; a wide variety of nice smelling, beautiful plants and small antiques. But now, it was time to test their food.
"Mmm...." I took a bite out of the butter honey waffles.
"I guess she was right, it really is good." Seiren said while munching down her breakfast.
"I don't want this morning to end...it's gonna be a real bore tonight. Talking, wearing tight costumes, being cautious of our surroundings. Ugh!" I complained.
"Stop complaining, we'll just get this mission done with and you know..."
"Hehe, you really can't wait for it can you?"
