Chapter 2: The Fear of What You See

"SON!!"

"DADDY!!! MUMMY!!"

"LET THEM GO!!"

"You and your bratty little sister will never see you parents again!"

"NOOOO!"

I woke up. My heart swinging it constraint circles. Finding a blur of some close figure. I tried to shake it off but it seamed to not stop. I forced myself to rub my fire coloured eyes as I progressed to see who was in front of me.

"Lloyd?" I question with no wonder what had happened. I glared peacefully at the emerald glow that shone luminously at my unlit ruby eyes. A sharp but faded stroke of blush crossed my cheeks as I relaxed in position.

"What happened, did you have another nightmare?" My answers were plain and simple. He had asked me the same question every morning I had woken up with such a blurry view. I couldn't lie to him though. I knew what I would get back if I did.

"Yes... and no. It was just a flash back." I reassured to him turning my head down to find where his position was. My blush grew stronger finding him over my short sized body. My head on the pillow in the middle of his two firm hands with his head hovering over mine. His legs laid spread out steadying his stance managing not to fall on me.

"Well that's different to what you normally say." He raised his eyebrow in confusion. Still not noticing the bright rosey blush that settled on my cheeks. We both stayed in silence glaring into each other's eyes.

"Guys, we have to come out for train!" Called the voice from outside the door. Quickly lifting himself off the bed my blush began to fade away. I slipped out with him trotting to the draw of where our suits were.

(Training)

We all stood in a straight and sturdy stance next to each other in a line. On my right I saw my boyfriend Lloyd and on my left I saw the tall silver nindroid.

My heart pounded rapidly seeing the two tallest members of the team standing next to me the shortest. My sister is a little taller than me, but not as tall as Jay. Cole, Zane and Lloyd are the tallest of us all zane being a little taller than Lloyd and Cole a a bit smaller than Lloyd.

"Today's training will be about skills and patience." Recalled our long bearded master. He pointed out the key rules of how to use our skills and how to keep you patience patient.

"There will be no powers aloud, Kai and Nya you both will go first." Announced the master of creation. Me and my sister plodded out line to the other sides of the training room. My heart began to pound harder and harder as I got into my position.

As I stare at the routers, I could tell they were worried by the look of their expression. Lloyd to most notice of what was going on and started to shuffle closer to where I was stood ready to help me when needed.

The reason why that I was so nervous about going against my sister was that she was actually quite strong. Especially when she's not in a mood. And there she is glaring like a wolf coming to catch its pray which is me.

"Remember no powers!" Repeated the elderly master. I saw the way he held his staff. He hand was wrapped around it that tight that his hand was going red.  He obviously was worried about something.

"Are you ready!" Spat my little sister from the other end. I could tell that she really wanted to hurt me at this point, but I gave her a nod and got ready to fight. Until...

BANG!!!

"What the f*** was that!" Squeaked the voice of the blue ninja. We all ran to the edge of the hill finding smoke lift up into the baby blue sky. Flame powered up into the smoke creating destruction around it.

"Ok, Zane, Nya you go and put the flames out! Kai you need to try and control the flames so they don't spread to much. Me, Cole and jay we all need to make sure that everyone is far away from the flames. Got it!" Demanded my strong bodied boyfriend. It was strange for me as I had never been given I job like this before. I had been tort how to control flames before, but I was never the best at it.

"NINJA GO!" We all called out spinning off the hill falling down to spawn how elemental dragons.

"We need to be quick or the fire will go out of control." Stayed the green ninja as he started to glide a little faster. We all did in fact.

"Why didn't you just let zane and I do the flames ourself. Kai could make thing go worse." Complained my raven haired sister who made everyone look at her in complete shock.

"Nya, for the last time. Stop doubting your brother on everything!" Screamed the leader of the team. The anger and disgust in his eyes glowed you so bright that his hands started to glow.

"It's ok Lloyd, she is right I'm not the best at controlling flames I'll just check with you, jay and Cole." I insisted calming him down letting everyone carry on flying down.

"Well, if Kai controls the flames while Nya and I put them out the flame will go out faster so I say it's better if we do what lloyd said at the start." Disagreed the sliver nindroid which actually made me feel a lot more confident. So I agreed.

"Ok... I'll help with the flames." I agreed and we all carried on flying. Past the tree. Over the blacksmith shop. And into the city.

"The city..."

Hello everyone!!

I have finally got to the part of where it all starts to go insane. I have seen that lots of people like this book and I will try my best to carry it on for you all.

Yesterday was so boring, all I really did was either eat, relax or do my homework. And if you think that's not bad well I have over 170 pieces of homework on my laptop which is crazy. I have never been given so many homework's in my life.
