Chapter 4: Lost in Darkness

"Sensei Wu!" Called the four ninja from the door. All of them ran inside like frightened chickens on the lose. They searched all around the monastery to find where their sensei was. Obviously not doing a great job.

"Yes?" Responded a voice from the double doors of where the ninja had not looked. They were never aloud to go in there. It was a top rule that their master had told them.

"Master Wu, a girl told us about someone who fell into a hole down in the city!"

"Then, we tried to see if we could get the person's attention but we never got an answer back!!"

"After, Lloyd jumped into the hole without warning us and saying that Kai was down there!!"

"Ok, ok. Slow down everyone." Demanded the long bearded man who stood in front of them. When the ninja came running back with at least one ninja missing he knew something was up.

"So your telling me that Lloyd jumped down a hole that was too dark to see the bottom and he said Kai was down there!" The four ninja nodded their head. Successfully knowing that their sensei knew what had happened. They watched him sigh had he turned around with his back facing them.

"Why does my nephew have to be so stubborn sometimes?" He questioned himself not wanting his fellow students to tell him the answer. But they did.

"Well, he is Kai's boyfriend. They are both stubborn." Answered the water ninja as she riled her eyes with no worry about her big brother. She didn't really care at all at this moment. At least she didn't have her brother with her she was calm and not frustrated.

"Ok, I think they might be a way..."

(With Kai)

"So... where are we going again?" Asked the impatient male who held the bright light of fire in his left hand. The unknown figure grumbled glaring at the fire ninja while holding his lantern in his right hand walking down the path of a strange abandoned place.

"For the forth time, you will see when we get there!" He snapped as they carried on walking down the stony concrete path. Kai was seriously confused of where they were actually going. He knew that it wouldn't be his parents. He knew that this unknown man wasn't the most thoughtful human being at all. He was just preparing for something to heat up. Like always.

"I'm sorry, but we've just met and you are already shouting at me for asking a question." Kai's temper was starting to boil. He didn't understand how to feel. Excited to find his parents. Miserable to be walking down a horrible place like this.

"You mean the same question over and over again. You know you really do remind me of your father." The hooded figure replied giving the teen a small grin on his face.

They both plodded down the path searching around. Kai still hadn't had a clue where he was right now, neither did he know who he was with. They started to get to a brighter light some minutes away. That's when the fire ninja found something that he had never wanted to see. He stopped to gasp.

"What the f*** is a dead body doing down here!" He cried staring down at the deadly piled up body the had a stabbed wound in his back. Her hair was a pale light brown that was tied up in a messy bobble. Blood poured out the sides of the body creating a lake of red blood on the concrete floor.

"Oh, you may find a few dead bodies around, this is an abandoned subway tunnel. Before it closed people were being found dead near the station down at the bottom." He mention in a calm way as he carried on walking down to the light.

"Hello..."

"Holy sh** what was that?!" Shouted Kai who turned around to see nothing but darkness. The voice was recognisable but didn't get to Kai's head.

"Just ignore that, you never want to listen to voice. Your safe with me." Shockingly the man started to get a little panicked. Like he knew who the voice was. The fire ninja was nervous, but edged to know who it was so he decided to walk back. Slowly getting quicker and quicker coming away from the man in the hoodie.

"Wait! You shouldn't do that you will get lost! We need to stay together!" He called making the fire elemental master stop in position. He turned back to the unknown being raising an eyebrow.

"Why should I believe you? I don't know you. I know your not taking me to my parents." That's when the hooded man gave the teen a chuckle. A smirk came from under his black coloured jacket as he faded back into the darkness leaving his victim on his own.

The light from the end was lit away making the place darker than ever. The only light that the ninja had was his own fire that didn't help as much as he thought.

"What have I got myself into..."

(With lloyd)

"Hello!" The green ninja called as he searched in the darkness. The flame that was lit in his hand was soon starting to fade away. Darkness crept around his body as if it was about take over the muscles green ninjas body.

"Holy sh** what was that?!" A recognisable scream came from his right. He knew who it was as soon as it came out.

"Kai!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. Waiting for a response her ran into the darkness more. There was no answer to heard. The blonde peaked around to see the rusty old tracks of a subway. Soon coming to the foot prints that were in printed from the soft layer of sand the covered the concrete.

"I will find you... my lover."

Hello!!

I actually liked this chapter. I kind of changed what I was going to do on the way. I have got to say though, I sometimes find it really hard to find lots of words to change so o don't repeat them but it's really hard to do. I also didn't expect to finish this today as my last chapter was published not that long ago.

My mum as given me a break from my homework as she trying to find some money. She has been working on it from the beginning of this week and still hasn't found anything.

Anyway, I hope your all washing hands for 20 seconds or longer. I have been going crazy from this virus because I was meant to go to Barcelona with my school for a special trip and now it's cancelled!! I hope your all doing better than me at home.
