Chapter 3: The Voice of Unknown

"The city..."

Fire was covering all over the city. Screams and cries called out from inside. All running down the ninja began panicked. As Kai controlled the destructive path of the flames, his sister and Zane quickly shot them into fin air. After some flames had disappeared the other three could finally reach inside.

"Kai you can go help the other Nya and I can deal with the flame from now!" Called the robotic nindroid as he pointed in the direction of the other three members of the ninja team. Kai nodded in agreement and slipped down into the burn up space.

"Help me!!" Squirmed the voice of a young girl. The red ninja ran down to the screen rushing over to make sure she was ok.

As he got to the voice he through pieces of burnt up wood that laid on top of her half burnt body. The fear in her eyes worried the hell out of the fire ninja quickly grasping her in his hand and running out of the lit up space. Until...

SMASH!!!

The two steamed as they fell down the unknown hole of some entrance. With all his force the master of fire pushed the girl before she fell down into the hole his last words demanding the young girl to do own small thing...

"Go and get help!!"

The girl ran as fast as she could to reach to the others. Her heart pounded loudly in her chest. She felt the heat crawl up to her head as if she was about pass out.

"HELP!" She screeched at the top of her lungs finding the other five ninja rambling on about something. They all turn to her with faces of worry and confusion.

"What's wrong?" Asked the silver faced ninja bending down to the unknown stranger. Tiers trickled down her cheeks as she pointed back into the piles of bricks and woods.

"A... a man tried... to save me b... but fell into a... a hole." She stuttered before getting chased over to where the hole was. Lloyd panicked knowing who it was of by heart. Kai hadn't come back from the same building from the last time he had saw him.

"Hello?" Called the raven haired ninja planing his face down into the darkness of the hole. There was no answer that came back.

"There is no way we can go down there without light, it's pitch black." He mentioned you his fellow brothers and the water ninja facing down in the pit of unlit space.

"I could use my fire to go down there?" Suggested the green ninja lighting his hand up with a little flame of fire. The water ninja scoffed.

"There is no way that your fire could stay lit up for that long. By the time we know it his flame will be out. The bad thing is that we don't have the actual master of fire with us." She argued with the suggestion while making her powerful leader gasp with hurt of the comments.

"Well... I have got to say for once that Nya is right." Zane buttered in watching as the flame faded into the oxygen aired space. Lloyd sighed.

"Well if your all no going to agree with me I'll be going down myself. After all my boyfriend is down here." He spat and jumped down the hole without no awareness of what was down there.

"Wait what!!" All of the ninja were surprised. They didn't realise that Kai was down there. They all decided to go back to the monastery to find help with their Greenflame love birds. Letting the little girl go.

(With Kai)

"Hello?"

"Guys, down here!" Responded the brunette from down below. There was no answer. Just some mumbled that echoed down like nothing.

"Is anyone up there!" He screeched again begging for someone to answer him, but there was nothing. He searched around in the pitch view. Whispers crawled out from the darkness making the male shiver down his spine.

"Whose there!" He snapped ready to fight. His hands lit up into the flames as he circled around as if he was being circled by lions. Then there was another whisper.

"Hello... Kai..." the brunette stopped in position. He didn't know what to say. How did this voice know his name. He had know clue. He was frightened.

"W... who are you... and how do you know my name?!" He questioned with fright looking in the direction of where the voice came from. It chuckled with and evil croak.

"Oh, Kai... I can't believe you don't remember me. I really missed you, but your parents wouldn't let me." Mumbled the voice mentioning the name parents to the young teen.

"You knew my parents!" Kai was surprised. He hadn't met many people who his parents knew. The only people that were really close to his parents before he was Wu and Garmadon. That all he thought anyway.

"Knew? you should say know. I can show you where they are right now." The red ninjas jaw dropped open. He thought that his parents were dead; he thought he had left them to die when he was little. He obviously didn't want it to happen, but he couldn't have done anything. He was only 5 and his sister was 3 at the time.

"They aren't dead!" Repeated the fire elemental finally creating a smile grow on his face. He was always blamed for "killing" his parents by his sister but now he had the proof that he hadn't.

"No, why would they? if you just follow me I will show you." He conducted his voice soon fading away into the sound of the air. Kai was confused to this point. How was he suppose to follow a voice that didn't even show his face.

"Hey! How can I follow you if I can't see you?" He questioned walking forward into the darkness. The voice chuckled at the comment soon appearing out of the pitch black space.

"Now you can't..."

Hello everyone!!

Here is chapter 3 for you all!!

I hope you are all liking my story so far. It is only getting to the best part. I never knew that I would be able to right this much as the start of the story as that was how I struggle to carry on other stories. I have also seen how many people are liking my first book 'lost' which is great deal as I have not really been a great writer.

I may have the next chapter out soon but I don't know when I'll have it out ready for you all. So be ready for the next one!!
