I got to the sitting room and then walked to the fireplace. We had used the Floo Network many times.
Draco was finally downstairs. "Let's go." Narcissa pulled Draco by the arm to where I was standing. "Storm, you go first." I nodded towards Aunt Narcissa. I took a handful of Floo Powder and said as clear as I could, "Diagon Alley." There was a flash green flames and I immediately arrived in Diagon Alley.
I looked around at all the shops and people. Then, someone rammed into the back of me. "Watch where you're going, git!" I yelled. I looked and realized that it was Draco. "Sorry, but you don't need to freak out about it." He said. "Well, you were behind me, weren't you? How was I supposed to know it was you?" I said back. I gave Draco a shove and then saw Narcissa arrive."Alright, children. Let's go. We need to get everything. First, wands." She told us. She gave us each a gentle push to signal us to move. We followed her to a shop called Ollivanders. "Now, Storm. You go first." Narcissa said. I opened the door and a tiny bell rang. An old man popped up from behind a counter. "Ahh. Miss Riddle. Here to purchase your first wand, I presume?" He said. "I think I know the best type for you." He reached under the counter and pulled out a long, red box. "Pine wood, Pheonix feather, twelve and a half inches, flexible. Try it." I nodded and waved it. Nothing happened. "Applewood, Unicorn hair. Exactly tweleve inches, slightly flexible." He handed me another. I waved it and a wand box flew up and hit him on the nose. I couldn't help but laugh. "Maybe this one. Cherrywood, Dragon heartstring, twelve and a half inches, firm." He handed it to me. I waved the wand and green smoke floaded the room. "Curious. Looks like someone here found her wand. Have a spendid day, Miss Riddle." He smiled and waved to me. I walked out the door and the tiny bell rang again. Narcissa motioned for Draco to go in and then she asked me Merlin knows how many questions about my wand. Half of my answers were "I don't know, Auntie."
Draco came out a few minutes later. He kept bragging about his wand until I slapped him on the arm. "Shut up!" I said, clearly showing I was annoyed. "Animals. Draco, you go find one first." Narcissa said.
Draco came out of the store with a cage the was housing a large, grey barn owl. Draco unlached the cage door. "His name is Ash. He only listens to me. Ash, fly." Draco ordered. The owl just sat there. "Ash, fly." I said. The owl flew out of the cage and into the air and landed on my arm. "See how it's done, Malfoy?" I laughed. "That's quite enough, you two. Storm go ahead inside." She smiled and tapped me on the shoulder.
As soon as I walked in, I locked eyes with an owl. It was small, white and bright saphire green eyes. It was beautiful. Then I looked up to the man at the cash. He was reading The Daily Prophit having a cigar. "I'll take this one." I said, lifting the cage up. "Ya will eh? Pretty one, ain't she. Snowy owl ya got there." He said taking another puff on his cigar. I handed him the cash and walked out of the shop.I wonder what I should name her. Maybe something that reminds me of dad like Snake or something like that. Serpent! I walked to Draco and Narcissa. "Alright, now that you both have your animals, let's go get a robe fitting. Come on." Narcissa led us to another shop. We walked inside. We stood near the mirrors. A woman came to size mine and a man to size Draco's. Soon, a boy came in. "Hello." Draco said. I gave the boy a nod. "Hogwarts too?" I asked. "Yes." He said. I saw him adjust his hair and I saw a fermiliar scar. "Holy Merlin. Draco..." I got cut off by the lady sizing my robes. "The both of you are done. Run along." She said.
As we walked out I told Draco that the boy from the shop was Harry Potter. "No, it can't be. If it is then..." he trailed off. "I know. That is why we need to stay away from him. But he ccan't know about my family." I said. No one can know I'm his daughter. This is going to be a very difficult year.A/N
