We had finished eating and then we were led by the Slytherin Prefects to the common rooms. We were led down many staircases and passed many portraits. We finally arrived to the dungeons. The prefects told us the password was Phoenix. As I walked in, I looked at all of the green velvet couches, the dark oak desks for studying, the dim light projected by the candles on the sides of the wall, it was all part of my home for the rest of the school year. "Girls dorms are on the right, boys on the left. Come see me to see who will be your roommates and which dorm you'll be." One of the Prefects, Beverly told us all. I was the fourth one in line. It was my turn. "Name?" Beverly asked. "Riddle." I told her. "You will be in girls dorm number eight with Parkinson, Lone and Germaine." She read off her clipboard. I walked upstairs to dorm eight. I opened the door.
There was a girl with dark hair and a face that looked like she had ran into the wrong platform at Kingscross, sitting on a bed. "Hello. Blood?" I asked. "Pansy Parkinson, Pureblood and I like you. What is your name?" The girl said. "Riddle. Storm Riddle." I said holding out my hand so she could shake it. She did. Just then, another girl walked in. "Alright freaks. Let's get this straight, I am Charlotte Lone and I will get whichever bed I want." The girl had waist-length strawberry-blonde hair and pink colored lip gloss on. "I am Pansy Parkinson, I this is my bed, freak." Pansy said mockingly. "I am Storm Riddle and you can have the bed with of your things on it. Alright?" I said. She looked us both up and down. She stopped when she saw my left hand.
This may be a bad time to tell you that I have a scar on my left hand. It was a circle with an 'X' in the center. I've had it since I was a baby. I don't know what it is, but definitly think it means something.
"What is that on your hand? Is it a tattoo? Did you draw it?" She asked. She grabbed my hand and lifted it close to have a better look. I pulled away quickley. "Do you have a problem with it?" I asked. "Yes, actually. It isn't normal. At all. Like, it's so freakish." She replied, flipping her hair. I stared at her for a few seconds and then punched her. "You will soon realize that things are never normal around here, you filthy little Mudblood. You shouldn't even be in Slytherin." I explained. She glared at me and then stared me up and down again. Charlotte walked to the bed with her trunk on it and screamed into her pillow. "Must be a muggle thing." I said.
The door opened. "Hey gals. Evelyn Germaine. Why's that git cryin' into her pillow over there?" The girl said. She had incredibly blonde hair that was tied up in a tight ponytail with a bright red streak. Her eyes were purple and she had very rosy cheeks. She was strange but pretty. Another strange thing about her was the fact that we had the exact same mark on our hand. I was stunned.
"Your hand..." I said to Evelyn. She looked slightly embaressed and covered it with her other hand. "It's nothin'. 'Kay?" She lied. I hesitated but then showed her my left hand. Evelyn was stunned. "I'll be damned." She said.
