4. Close To Me

Leon and I had been walking for a while,

There weren't too many infected but we still had to run and duck to avoid the few that were there.

We were walking under some metal grates, in narrow corridors,

Then I heard something, like a human, not so much an infected.

They cried out and crashed into something and I subconsciously moved closer to Leon in fear.

He looked on edge from the sound to,

"...stay close. Ok?"

He said and I nodded holding my gun tight my knuckles turning white with my grip.

We kept going until we reached an open door with a locker that had fallen in the way,

"Give me a hand with this?"

Leon asked tucking his gun into his belt and putting his hands under the locker to lift it,

"Sure."

I said with a deep breath and together we managed to get the locker to stand up again.

There was a door at the end of the hallway.

So naturally Leon and I both walked towards it,

Only to almost be flattened by a gigantic infected monster!

Leon and I stared up in horror at it,

"What the--"

The monster finally gained its footing and looked from me to Leon before grabbing Leon by the throat and charging out of the small room.

"LEON! Hang on!"

I rushed out after them!

The monster slammed Leon against the metal grates under us, using him like a boxing glove.

I tried shooting at the thing, my bullets flying over it's back to its head, but it didn't even flinch!

On the third time it slammed Leon into the floor it turned with a death glare at me and backhanded me into the room we had come from,

I smashed into the concrete wall and fell flat on my face, dropping my gun,

"(Y/-- Y/N)!"

Leon tried to call, but I heard the monster slam him into the floor again,

I could hear a crash and managed to finally pull myself up so I was resting on my elbows.

A part of the floor was gone and so were Leon and the monster!
