Lincoln's Justice

Part 6: Hospital

Anger. Sadness. Devastation. 

Those are the three emotions that are going through the Santiago's, McBrides and Louds. Anger for the unnecessary beating that Lincoln was forced to endure. Sadness towards the fate of their son/brother/boyfriend...and devastation at the thought that their loved ones would do this heinous act towards one of their siblings.  

"Ms. Loud...Did Lori really have a hand in this?" Bobby asked. He was conflicted because his girlfriend..the love of his life injured the boy who he bonded with. All because he just told his parents how unfairly she treated him. 

"Yes. She did. Sigh...then we called the police and disowned her along with Luan and Lynn." Rita Said.

"Not like they didn't deserve it. All those times that she threatened him and she had to do this towards him. I always thought that Lori was a brave, smart and someone who I can really look up to for guidance, but now I see that she's a monster." Leni Said. 

"Luan was always funny and would make his life when the going gets tough, but...now I see the ugly side that I never noticed until now." Luna Said.

"Lynn was the person who trained the most and helped us with bullying. We were close, but I can never see her the same way that I used to." Lucy Said.

"Girls...stop mentioning your former sisters..your mother is still upset about our decision." Lynn Sr. Said as he hugged his wife who was crying again.

"Leni?" Someone asked. Leni turned around and saw Carol Pringrey, Lori's friend/rival. She worked at the hospital to earn some volunteer credit towards her transcripts so she could get into a good college.

"Hi Carol." Leni Said.

"Why are you here? Did someone get hurt?" Carol asked.

"You can say that. My little brother Lincoln got beaten up today." Leni Said.

"That's Terrible." Carol Said.

"It is. Especially since three of my former sisters beat him up." Leni Said.

"Former sisters? Which ones?" Carol asked.

"Lori, Lynn and Luan. All because Mom and Dad punished them for taking advantage of my brother. When we arrived after foolishly leaving them alone in the house...they were all covered in Lincoln's blood while Lincoln was laying there looking lifeless. After that...the police arrived and they were taken to jail, but before they went Mom and Dad disowned them." Leni said as tears flowed down her cheeks. She was still shocked and heartbroken to know that her sister..the one who she looked up to as a role model would do something so terrible to one of there own.

"I'm so sorry." Carol Said as she hugged Leni. Like Leni, Carol was shocked that her rival would do something like this to her sibling. A sibling that only wanted to be treated with more respect from his sister. 

"It's not your fault Carol. No one knew that Lori would do something like this." Leni Said.

"Sigh..Well, I better get back to work. Once this is over maybe we can have a mini sleepover to help distract you from all this chaos." Carol Said.

"I'll like that. See you later." Leni Said as she joined back with her sisters. After that Carol left to finish her job while planning to spread the word to the rest of their friend group. Later, the Doctor would come into the room with a grim facial expression making everyone there nervous.

"Family of Lincoln Loud?" The Doctor Said.

"That's us. I hope you don't mind that we brought some friends of Lincoln with us." Rita Said.

"It's fine. Now..I have some good news and bad news to give you about your son." The Doctor Said.

"Let us have it Doctor." Lynn Sr. Said.

"Well..your son had multiple puncture wounds that thankfully haven't touched any of his vital organs. He also has both of his legs broken and his left arm is fractured in multiple places, but don't worry his arm doesn't need to be amputated." The Doctor began. 

"It's a miracle that your son's spine isn't broken..only fractured. He did suffer a concession and had a black eye with a broken nose. On another note..your son's ribs are broken and one of them punctured his right lung. Luckily we managed to repair it before he started to choke on his drown in his own blood. However..we did discover some brain damage that has impacted the area where memories are stored in the brain so we expect him to have some memory issues." The Doctor added.

"At least he's alive right?" Rita Said.

"Yes. But there is one thing that I have to mention...your son was put into a medical induced coma." The Doctor Said.

"MY SON IS IN A COMA!!" Rita exclaimed.

"Only so he wouldn't be in so much pain. Besides he's going to spend a long time in the hospital after that brutal beating that he experienced." The Doctor Said.

"Can we see him?" Ronnie Anne Said.

"Yes. But I have to warn you against worsening his injuries since he could've been killed by whoever did this terrible act against a child." The Doctor Said. As the doctor left to Lincoln's room..the group slowly followed behind him trying not to cry. Why? Why did this have to happen to such a sweet boy? Someone who would always help others even if it caused him to get in trouble.

"Alright. Here we are...just page me if you have any more questions." The Doctor Said as they went inside only to see a heartbreaking sight. Lincoln was laying on the bed and was pale..all while spitting a nasty black eye and a bandage around his nose and head. His left arm was completely in a cast and he was covered in a blanket from under neath his arms towards his feet.

"Lincoln. My baby.." Rita Said as she grasped his right hand.

"Daddy...Is Lincoln going to be okay?" Lola Said.

"Lincoln will be fine Lola besides it's not like he'll forget anything when he wakes up." Lynn Sr. Said. As he said that..The others surrounded the bed hoping that his words would come true i the future unaware that they will endure more heartbreak once he woke up in the future.
