13th Beat: One Step Closer to You...

After Eunhye received the good news, she immediately texted both of her friends. Like her, they were also happy to hear the news.

“I wonder what project is that.” Shine said.

“Well, whatever it is, I am just so excited!” EUnhye reacted

                Rhoyce was just smiling.

“Hey, hey, why are you silent, Miss Park? Aren’t you excited?”

“Well, yes, I am but I have to be careful. I don’t wanna be bullied again.” She half-jokingly answered.

                The boys were rehearsing the songs that they will record for WAC collaboration album. Manager hyung was supervising them. They took a short break for a while.

 “You sound good. I hope it continues until the day of recording.” Manager hyung said as they handled them bottled water (not cold though)

“We really hope so, Hyung. We don’t wanna mess up with the recording day.” Drake said as he was wiping his sweat.

“Ah, boys, you will have a meeting with MBN 27 (the most popular network/tv station)” Manager added.

“For what, hyung?” the boys asked.

“About Dylan’s drama and recording the OST. “ Manager replied. “And…oh, I almost forgot..” he suddenly blurted out.

“What about it, Hyung” David inquired.

“You will also perform for MBN-27’s anniversary special”.

                The girls followed the details on the email. They went to the company which sent them the email. There they found out that they were chosen by their respective companies to participate in a special project- the MBN -27 Anniversary Special. Since Shine is the event organizer, she will help in organizing the event. A special photobook will also be released by the network so she was hired as one of the photo-G’s. Rhoyce on the other hand would help in the documentary special for the network. It would not be a conflict for their own works since the companies  Rhoyce and Shine were waiting for are connected and partners with MBN. EUnhye on the other hand is a freelancer.

“Yieeh!!! I am so happy!” Eunhye said as they received their plane tickets.

“I am so excited for this!!!” RHoyce finally managed to show her happy side.

“Here we go! Closer to them!” Shine said.

                Days swiftly passed and 3D Brothers band has finished recording 2 tracks for WAC collaboration album. They are also done in recording the OST  Caught and Found You for Dylan’s new drama. That morning, Dylan is on the set of his new series. He has finished filming the 4 episodes and now he is shooting for the 5th episode. He was rehearsing his lines  when suddenly, the production crew handled him something.

“What’s this, noona (sister, elder woman?)” he asked.

“That’s Bizz&Buzz mag’s special issue- it’s all about your band.” She smilingly replied.

“Oh really? Thanks!” Dylan smiled and bowed as he got the magazine.

                He flipped through the pages and a name caught his attention.

“Rhoyce Park- editor-in-chief,” he read. He smiled. He remembered her. “The shoelace girl,,, backstage princess.” He murmured to himself.

                Finally! It’s the day of the girls’ flight to the Queen City! (the capital city) Shine tweeted before boarding the plane.

@shine_a_light: heading to the Queen City! Here we go!”

                David saw her tweet.

“So she’s gonna be here. That will be good!” he said to himself.

                After few hours of flight, the girls arrived safely on Queen City. Eunhye immediately tweeted.

@savinggrace1015: Touchdown Queen City! It’s gonna be a work full of fun!”

                They headed to the condo unit that they would be staying and rested for a while. They will have a meeting with the network later.

5:00 pm. 3D Boys are headed to MBN Broadway Centrum to rehearse their performance. That’s on 15th floor. They were riding the elevator when it opened… 3 girls were about to ride the elevator too, headed to 17th floor, the network’s conference building. When 3D boys saw the 3 girls, they looked at each other.

‘Miss Kim!” Drake greeted the girl.. it’s Eunhye! She bowed her head as she greeted him. The girls entered the elevator. Shine and David smiled at each other. But there are 2 persons awkward with each other.. Dylan and RHoyce. They were silent for a while. Finally Dylan broke the ice (started the conversation).

“Nice magazine. I like it.” He smiled at Rhoyce as he showed her the mag. Rhoyce just smiled.

“The photos were well-taken.” Drake smilingly complimented Eunhye.

“Ah,, Miss Lee, have you heard the song we created?” David brought out another topic to  Shine.

“Ah..Not yet.” She shook her head.

“Well.. I’ll let you hear one time.” David answered.
