Chapter 2

Ally's pov

As Elizabeth left, what shock me was when she said "I gotta go put my baby to sleep." I was kinda surprise

"That actually her baby?", ask Camila.

"No. She just likes to say it her baby. You see Elizabeth is second oldest kid we have in here. The other oldest is my daughter. They both help me look after the kids, but Elizabeth have this bond or connection with Maddie.", Emily said.

"How close are they?", Lauren ask.

"Really close. Once we all woke up from Maddie screaming and crying. We tried anything to make her stop crying and sleep. Elizabeth came and as soon as Elizabeth got her, she stop crying. Then she sang her a lullaby and she fell asleep.", Emily said.

"Wow they must be really close. My parents always wanted another baby but apprently they couldn't. Do you think they would be interested in adopting Maddie?", Lauren ask. We all look at her.

"Yeah I guess, but let adopt Elizabeth."

"She needs a family, and I think we should all be there for.", I said. We all look at Emily. She was just shock and happy at the same time. But her reaction soon change, as Alex walked in. She had her earphones in, and her phone in her hand. She then started cleaning up the mess. She finish less than 5 minutes. Wow, she cleans fast.

"Hey Elizabeth, can we talk to you?", I ask as she turned around.

"You are talking.", she roll her eyes.

"We wanted to know..Well....You see we want....Is it okay if we.....We all-"

"I don't have all day. So hurry up!! I'm going to be late for a meeting!!", she said.

"We wanted to know that we are going to adopt you." Dinah said for me. Thank you Dinah

"Hell no. I ain't being adopted by you. No no nope nope.", she said as she shook her head.

"Aw come on. Please we really want too. We want you.",

"As much as I waited for someone to say that they want to adopt me, I don't want to be adopted now. I like it here. Beside I can't leave Maddie. And I absolutely don't want to be adopted, espically by you. Emily!!! I'm leaving, bye." She got her skateboard and left.

"Well that didn't go as plan.", I said as I out my head down.

"Aww don't worry Ally. Maybe we should just get to know her and she will get to know us.", Normani said as she hug me.

Elizabeth's pov

I was walking home from dance. My skateboard in my hand and my bag in the other. I saw two visitors and Emily walk out the door. The visitors seem like a couple. They were going to their car. As the man was putting a lot of stuff in the back while a woman was carrying a baby inside the car. That baby was no other baby. Its was Maddie. I gasp and drop my things. The couples got in the car.

"NOOOOOO!!!!! MADDIE!!!", I scream. I try to run after it, but Emily held me back. "MADDIE!!! NOOOOO!! LET ME GO!!!! MADDIE!!!!!!" Soon the car left. I was all shaken up, angry, upset, and numb. "NOOOO PLEASE COME BACK!!!" I was on my knees when I couldn't see the car anymore. Soon someone try to put me in a hug. I stood up, and got my things. As I ran inside, someone held me.

"Elizabeth, you need to ca-"

"DON'T YOU DARE TO TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!! BULLSHIT EMILY!! MADDIE WAS THE ONLY GIRL I'VE HAD!!! I DIDN'T EVEN GET A CHANCE TO SAY GOODBYE!! THIS IS MY THIRD TIME I'VE LOST SOMEONE!!! FIRST MY PARENTS, THEN MY AUNT, NOW MADDIE!!! MADDIE WASNT ANY OTHER GIRL!! IN CASE YOU NEVER FUCKEN KNEW, MADDIE WAS MY BABY COUSIN!! THAT RIGHT COUSIN!!! SHE WAS MY AUNT'S. CHILD!!! WHY THE HELL DO YOU THINK I WAS CLOSE TO HER!?! WHY DO YOU THINK I'VE WAS OVERPROTECTED TO HER!?! WHY DID YOU THINK I WANTED TO KEEP HER!?! NOW SHE WITH STRANGERS WHEN SHE COULD'VE FUCKEN STAY WITH HER ONLY ONE COUSIN WHICH WAS ME!!!! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOOSE SOMEONE YOU LOVE!!!! SO DON'T YOU FUCKEN TELL ME ANYTHING BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW THE HELL I'M FEELING RIGHT NOW!!", I ran upstairs to my room, slam the door. Everything that belongs to Maddie was gone.

Yes Maddie is my cousin. I found out I had an aunt after my parents died. I knew about her because my mom told me about her. She came to the furneral, and that when i saw her. Didn't meet her. A year later, she called me, ask about me then had Maddie. Long story short, she died a few months after. She buried next to my mom, and Maddie was stuck in the orphanage because no one else could've taken care of her. I knew about Maddie being my cousin because I may or may not have hired an investigator.

Someone knock on my door, and its was the short girl I met earlier along with a girl who had green eyes. I slam the door to their faces as I open the door. I lay in bed and cried. Yes I may be all tough and rude, but this is my third time someone I love was taken away from me.

Little did she know that the couples that she saw earlier were Lauren Jauregui's parents.
