I took my phone out after my power nap.
77 missed calls
I opened it and saw that every single one of the missed calls were from Ashton. And right at that moment he called again.
"Hello?" I replied in my groggy wake-up voice.
"Hi, it's me. Are you okay?" said Ashton from the other end.
"Yeah, just took a nap."
"Lea. You sleep power naps only when you feel depressed. Plus, your nap can't have lasted eight hours. What's wrong?" Ashton's wise voice said sternly. I sighed in defeat.
"Nothing. Just found out how much of a douche my father actually was." I put the phone on loudspeaker and lifted myself to my chair. Very weak from my legs, but still using them. I will walk. With the help of Ashton.
"Alright, if that's all you want to tell me. Day six?"
I smiled. "Count me in. Meet you in the garden at six."
***
"Ashton!" I screamed as he carried me away from my chair laughter in his eyes.
"It's good that you can't kick or this would hurt me," he laughed.
"Not yet, you bitch!"
"Jerk," he replied as he dropped me on snow. I screamed again. "How're things down there, Lea?" Ashton said acting like I was far down. I smirked and grabbed his hand pulling him down on me. His face showed pure shock before it landed in snow.
I started laughing hysterically.
"You think this is funny?" his muffled voice said. "I think-" he lifted his snowy face up to look at me very closely, "- this is."
Then he kissed me with snow all over his face.
