CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO,
speak your piece.

The two walked out of the Kingdom. Aiden had Elliot had strapped for her back. She had all of her weapons on her.

Daryl led her to small cabin. Daryl walked forward and knocked on the door. The door opened a couple seconds after he knocked. He stepped to the side and Carol said Aiden.

"Hi, Carol. I want you to meet someone." Aiden smiled softly. Daryl moved behind her and grabbed their son. "Meet Elliot."

Carol gasped in shock, "oh." She held her arms out to hug Aiden. Aiden walked forward quickly and hugged the woman she saw as a mother. Carol kissed the woman's temple before pulling away, "can I hold him?"

"Yeah." Daryl said gruffly and handed Elliot over to Carol. The woman held the baby and stared at him.

"He's got the your nose." Carol said. Aiden smiled softly, "yeah, he does."

"We're goin' back to Hilltop." Daryl said. Carol looked from Elliot to him.

The two made it to the Hilltop just before night fell. Aiden currently sat in front of Glenn's grave as she had done everyday before leaving.

She looked and saw Sasha approached the graves, "hey."

"Hi." Sasha replied.

"You still going to the factory?" Aiden asked her.

Sasha nodded, "yeah, I am."

"I want you to be extra careful, okay? Look, I know we weren't always close until recently but you're my family, Sasha. And I can't lose anyone else, not after Glenn and Abraham."

"I will be." Sasha said. Aiden stood, she put her hand on Sasha's shoulder and smiled at her gently before stalking off.

She walked up to Daryl who sat on a picnic table, she walked up and sat beside him. He looked up at her and she saw the stray tear falling down his face. She sighed and brought her hand up and wiped the tears with her thumb. She kissed his forehead, "it's okay to cry." She whispered.

She felt his shaking hand grip hers, "I know." She heard Daryl reply.

"The Saviors are coming!" Aiden heard Cal shout. Enid ran up to Daryl and Aiden, "we have to get Maggie."

"Go." Aiden said. "I'll go to the other side."

Daryl looked at her and kissed her forehead, "where is she?" She ran to the trailer and saw Sasha.

"I'm getting Elliot." She grabbed her son quickly along with his bag.

"Where do we hide?" Rosita ran to the trailer.

"We're not hiding." Sasha replied. "We gotta get out before Maggie does."

Rosita looked at the secret exit, "go, Aiden." Aiden crawled down first, then Rosita, and then Sasha. The three women made their way to the other side. She climbed out and Aiden looked at them.
