"Don't tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass."

- Anton Chekhov

09.

It is MORNING for another day again. It's another page of my life. And, another life challenge is surely waiting for me right now.

I stretched my arms after waking up from my usual dream, which highlights and focuses a part of my past life. After dreaming so much about it, I think I was already figuring things out. With all the puzzles every night, I am sure there's a complete story about it and there's something that I am entitled to do.

First, I live such a bright and wealthy life with my family. My mother is a pretty queen who lives happily with my father. My father suddenly went out for a mission, which I still need to know what it is all about. My mother and I waited for him. Alongside that long waiting, a marriage was arranged for me and the prince of Minnesota, Prince Laurence. Despite the strong governance of their family, our love for each other is on it's weakest level. I don't want to marry him because I am in love with someone else. He is the guy from the rural place of my hometown, the guy who cleans the shoes of the people with high positions and just paid a little amount of coins. He was simple and I was attracted to how he lived such a simple life with his family. As to what I just dreamt earlier, I seemed to plan with that guy I love on how to run away from the wedding. Hmph! What else could that dork be dreaming these days.

"Avyn Grace Condor," calls my Mom from the kitchen.

I jumped out of bed and groaned a little. I gently rubbed my eyes and unintentionally, I yawned.

"Yes mother. I'm coming."

"Runaway bride!"

I guess he already dreamed about it. Well, how did he know? I am still on the planning part yet he's already about the run away scenario. He's a fast dreamer huh, literally speaking.

"So you already dreamed about it. You're such a spoiler," I said in response. My hands quickly hooked the bottle of yogurt that he is holding.

His eyes widened in surprise. "You thief!" Before I could say a word, I drank it right away. With continuous gulp, I enjoyed the free drink.

"I am sorry. I forgot to eat my lunch," I said while throwing the trash on the can like shooting a basket ball.

His left brow raised. "You have not eaten yet? Why? Busy with school stuffs? Come with me. I'll treat you for lunch," he offered.

"Woah, did you just like, push out a shit off your butt? You're hungry again, aren't you?" I asked all of a sudden. I know he is embarrassed with that.

His brows furrowed as he looked a around. "Shut up. Everyone is glaring at us. How could you be so loud about shitty things?"

"You bought a yogurt. I just thought you're having an LBM. I see no problem about it. Besides, we're human. It's normal to-"

He covered my mouth with his right palm and covered his lips with his pointing finger. "Ssh, shut up."

I rolled my eyes as I shrugged my shoulders.

"If you don't want a lunch, then don't. I'll go grab a snack myself." He walked but of course, why would I not grab that very rare opportunity.

"Of course, I'll come with you. Wait," I blared while reaching him out. I think we are pretty close now. I put my arm over his shoulders and laughed with him.

---

"You dork!" I was just mopping on the floor when all of a sudden a lady in high heels ran towards me and...
