"All shadows of clouds cannot hide
like the moon cannot stop oceanic tide;
but a hidden star can still be smiling
at night's black spell on darkness, beguiling."

- Munia Khan

14.

The moon has settled on top of the silent sky. Stars have hidden. The moon has fully ruled the kingdom of darkness all by himself. It brights with wonders and the sun seems to reflect more light for it from time to time.

The girl in a blue nightgown, with her face covered with overflowing sweat, sighs heavily with frustration, atrociousness, and sadness. As her heart beats twice the normal rate, her breath is seen as white as a cloud that vanishes immediately in the thin, cold air.

Her feet stopped as her eyes saw that what she is standing is the edge of the mountain. One step more and she will surely fall down the deep, dark, and silent ground.

This is a familiar dream to me. If I am not dreaming, what else could this be? My heart feels anxious the way the girl feels now. Is this because I am now aware that this girl is me in the past life?

Together with the pouring sweats, tears in her eyes starts to fall on her cheeks. She wiped them with her hands tingling. She weeps with deep emotions coming from within.

"Why are you doing this to me? Why?" she shouted as she bends her body to let her voice blare in anger.

The temperature went higher and she is freezing cold. All of a sudden, she cried at the back of a laughter.

"Tell me! Why are you doing this to me?" she screamed. Her hair in terrible mess goes together with the wind blowing. Her sweat cooled on her face but the only thing that kept pouring are those that are in her eyes.

"Let me live. Let me be with you." After she said those words, there was a big bang heard coming from a gun. It was as loud as a very close thunder. It was a terrible sound.

With those bang, my lower abdomen felt so much pain. It is where blood around her body flows disastrously. It was a man. A man has shown himself. Alongside that, blood choked her and was released from her mouth before she fell down the cliff.

In a moment of silence, death was what was made. With the man I saw, who is he? Was he the person behind my death?

---

That dream about my death, if it happens to be my life in the past, keeps on bothering me. It added up to the burdens my mind has right now.

I placed my books on top of the table and started reading to keep myself busy before my mind blows out of control.

I flipped pages already but I did not even understand what I was reading. I think I am already out of mind. This is crazy.

I put my books back to my bag and walked out from the library. I think I need some fresh air. I also crave for a yogurt. It reminded me of that dork.

Oof, speaking of, I saw him eating alone in the canteen. I waggled my hand to him so that he can recognize me.

I moved closer so that he will surely know. He might even give me food. At least, I'll be happy to accept it now.

"Hey," I greeted and sat down in front of him. "What-"

He stood up as he pushed away the chair. He grabbed his food and started moving away. Is he ignoring me now? Wait, did I do something wrong?

I rolled my eyes. This can't be. I followed him and grabbed his wrist. "What's the problem? Would you guys tell me in case I hurt you or something?" I said.
