(16) You were mine til you weren't

I had to give up my love
for you.
after all, that's the only
thing I can do.

You weren't happy anymore,
so I gathered up all of
my courage, to tell you
"you're free to go."

I loved you so much that
it hurt you.
I gave you everything until
I lost you.
