Astounded, the doctor sighed, as he tried to digest Piper's words.

I had the privilege of meeting your secretary, Doc. Vera was such a sweetheart. Too bad I had to take her soul.

Nolan started feeling queasy in his stomach, as that might explain why Vera wasn't in today. Just thinking about it, made him angry, because no one had the right to torment a sweet old lady.

And perhaps that might also explain why Vera acted too motherly the other day. As if she was trying to tell him something through body language. A signal for help that he couldn't see.

He started to panic, worried that Vera might be in some kind of trouble if Piper's spirit took her soul.

Yet, despite the fact that he was deeply worried about his secretary, Nolan reminded himself to remain focused on Janneth's case.

"Who is Tabitha, Ms. Hudson? Was she your student?"

Janneth was about to speak, but the wise trickster beat her to it.

Oh for freakin' out loud Doc, call her Janneth, why be so formal?

Nolan tried to ignore the rude, cartoon-like voice, he wondered if that was exactly what Janneth wanted. The doctor always acted professionally toward his clients and maybe it was time for him to loosen up. Perhaps that was what Piper wanted him to do.

With a sigh, he scratched his chin. He developed strands of hair there since he hadn't shaved for months due to his busy schedule and his wife didn't complain about it, so he let it grow. He believed that a goatee would make him look more sophisticated. But little did he know that if he let it grow into a beard, it would make him appear to be someone that Piper would be attracted to. Someone that used to be her father.

With a hint of curiosity upon his face, the doctor stared at his patient

With a hint of curiosity upon his face, the doctor stared at his patient. "Very well, may I call you Janneth instead?"

Janneth nodded, as she felt the title Miss Hudson belonged to her mother. Memories of her mom came back to haunt her, but she didn't know why. After her father left them, Janneth didn't have much to choose from as a role model. Her mother, Jasmine Elizabeth, was the only one she had to look up to.

Even when Janneth attended school, her peers made fun of her. Janneth's clothes were often 'hand - me - downs' since Jasmine would only buy clothing from the neighborhood thrift store.

And as a young child Janneth had to remain strong and make a name for herself, even though the townspeople around her would spread rumors about her mom. It made things difficult for her, but Janneth was able to finish her education as if she had a fairy godmother.

The money would appear out of nowhere and land in front of her desk when Janneth worried about paying her school tuition. Her mother, lame that she was, never worked.

Just thinking about her past made her cry as Janneth was taunted by bullies. Her mom never harmed her, but from the start, Janneth knew something was off about her as if she had gone mental, shutting herself all those years.

It baffled Janneth where the money came from, as it came in great big bundles of dollar bills, she alone would cash in the bank.

She thought that a distant relative might have found out about her and started sending cash in the mail. It was the only explanation, or was it? And it paid her way through college where she earned her teaching degree. It even appeared to be a part of a pirate's fortune!

And as the years went by, those who did the Hudsons wrong disappeared without a trace. One by one. No bodies were ever found. No evidence of foul play.

Yet Janneth had a hunch who took them away for she did her research before the police arrested her.

She learned her family history and how she was a descendent of a pirate named Captain Nathaniel Callis, who made the worst mistake of his life. And because of that Prue and Piper came to life!
