"What matters most is how well you walk through the fire." - Charles Bukwoski
Coming to terms with what Tabitha mentioned, Janneth put both of her hands on top of her forehead, holding the temples together that ached in pain.
"Tabitha! You are not making any sense here. I'm sorry to shout at you, but I am having trouble processing all of this. First you come here in the morning to tell me about the old wax museum situation and how you got Astrid, Hansel and James, involved in this is beyond me. Now you are telling me after you left the school nurse, you met Piper and some students from Ms. Perkins class are now after you. All of this makes my head spin!"
Seeing that there wasn't any way to get her teacher out of the room as soon as possible, Tabitha began to mumble amongst her breath as she herself was getting restless.
"Ms. Hudson, hrgh... Please believe me. We got to leave now and retrieve Piper. I've got a plan. I want to take you to the wax museum now if you don't believe me."
Tabitha grabbed her teacher's hand without thinking and motioned her to head out of the door. Even though Janneth was reluctant to leave, she told herself to follow Tabitha. What else has she got to lose since her whole day has been bizarre already?
"All right, Tabitha I will come with you. Please stop yanking my arm."
With a smile, the witch acknowledged her teacher's wishes and let go.
Unbeknownst to Tabitha, two of her nemesis were eavesdropping by the classroom's door. Serina Nunes and Monique Solomon followed her to Ms. Hudson's class.
"What do you hear, Serina?" asked her best friend.
The curly haired girl signaled for Monique to stay silent by putting her index finger to her lips. She could hear footsteps approaching and knew that she had to hide.
"Be quiet Moni, I think they are coming out now." She took Monique's hand and ran toward the locker areas pretending to take out their books. However, they did not notice that the lone chair was still outside and an invisible prankster was enjoying this show.
