Strange Message

"Mom, I'm heading out." As I put on my long coat and grabbed my bag then headed towards the door.

As I stepped outside I felt the cold breeze hit my face, it was such a delightful feeling to feel in the morning. So I headed to the park and looked for a decent spot to sit down, and I found one under a tree, by a small creek.

As I sat down, I closed my eyes to focus on the sounds around me. It was all peaceful until it was interrupted by an unknown voice of a man.

"...Yeji...you have to return back...to Alterna...."

Upon hearing the voice, it startled me causing me to stand up in a hurry. But nobody was there I even looked behind me and nothing. I felt uneasy so I took my things and left somewhere close to home.

Luckly, I ran into a friend of mine.

"Taehyung! Oh I'm relieved to see you right now" As I ran to his side " I need your help!"

When I approached him, he looked confused as to why I was asking for help, while I was trying to fill him in on the situation. He stopped me and we moved into a fast-food place, probably to move into a more quiet place.

"Okay, it should be more quiet here now explain to me what happen." Taehyung said with a serious face.

As I explained my situation to him, about the voice it suddenly it came back...

"...hurry...yeji we don't have time...."

"See, it came back!" As I exclaimed to taehyung

"But, yeji I didn't hear...anything?" He said with worry and confusion "Have you mentioned this to your parents yet?" He continued "Because, with what's going on I think they are the best option, not me I'm sorry yeji really am."

Upon, hearing him say that I felt hurt knowing that he wouldn't be helping me anymore but would still support me, which I was grateful for and so we left place. Taehyung returned back to his business, while I went to my parents to tell them about the voice.

As I walked into the house I called for my parents "Mom!, Dad! I need to talk to you about something"

My mom didn't work, she was a housewife while my dad worked at home for certain reasons and as we got together around the table, I started to tell them about what had happened to me today outside by the small creek.

"Mom, dad I know this might sound crazy but trust me on this okay" As I looked at my parents with a serious look.

"Of, course we trust you sweetheart" My mom said while my dad gave me a look showing his trust in me.

"Okay, so in the morning I was relaxing by the small creek just enjoying the sound of nature, until I heard a mysterious voice of a man telling me to return back to...Alterna? Do you know anything about that place?"

The moment that I mentioned the word Alterna there body language and facial expressions changed immediately, like if they knew that place and didn't tell me anything about it.

"So, you do know about it then?" I said back to them in a relieved tone

But they just sat there looking sad, as if they didn't like what they heard My mom was the one to explain the whole situation.

"Yeji, that place that you heard we know it, because were from their and not only that but we also know the meaning behind the voice that you have been hearing as well." She explained with so much honesty and sincerity.

Just by hearing my mom explain, it made my heart drop I couldn't believe that they knew all along and didn't even say anything about it to me. I was angry at them for lying to me, but in the end what can I do about it..nothing.

"The voice what does it mean...mom" I said with so much trouble

"Sooner or later a person will appear and take you with them, mostly during the night since people are sleeping by then."

"And who is this stranger that will appear in front of me ?" I said with confusion

"There called 'Messengers' they are a highly trained group that work under the king, but in this case there's only one." As she started to think deeply "But, if he's able to talk to you via mind then he's no regular messenger...there's no way! He's an Anci-"

She was about to say something until she was stopped in mid sentence, as if she was saying too much.

"Honey, I think that's enough I'm sure the messenger will fill her in with more detail...okay? As he looked at her.

"Yeah, your right...will it got late so we better get some sleep because tomorrow will be quite a busy one."

I don't know why but I felt sarcasm in her voice, as I headed into my room it felt ominous but I just ignored it and went to sleep without changing my clothes. After a few hours into the night I heard the voice again.

"Wake up yeji it's time to go "

I then felt a tap on the shoulder "mmmm...what is it?' I said with my still closed

"Come, on get up already!"

As I opened my eyes I saw a person with a hood on in my room next to me. Without knowing I started to panic.

"Who the hell are you!!!" I yelled at the stranger

"I'm a messenger, I'm here to take you with me back home where you truly belong." He replied back in a hurry

"A messenger you said?" I said in shock

"Alright, then if what you say is true then take me back where 'I' truly belong" I said with all manner of giving up

"Okay, then take hold of my hand"

When I grabbed his hand, everything turned black for a split second and then suddenly we were in a different place. There were tree's everywhere, even mountains and buildings in the distance.

"Hey, what is this place?" I asked the hooded man

I turned around to face him since he didn't reply back and he revealed his face to me. I wasn't expecting him to be so good looking, long black hair including a small man bun.

"My name is Lee Donghae,"

What he did next surprised me even more, he went on one knee, lowered his head and put his right palm over his heart and said.
