The world is a play,
And we act accordingly.
Whether it's at work, school, or home,
Our life is comprised of acts and costumes.
Feelings like happiness, sadness, or anger,
Can just be masks.
Trends like glitter or bracelets,
Can just be coverups.
But one day a year, on Halloween,
We can shed our costumes and be ourselves.
We could be vampires, hero's, pirates, anything we want.
That is us without our costumes.
