His room was dark and incredibly quiet, the curtains drawn shut only letting in the smallest sliver of sunlight. Chaeyoung smelled nothing but him, and them mixed together in his dark gray sheets.
She shifted the tiniest amount, the grip of his arms engulfing her was strong and calming but she didn't want to wake him. She could tell just by just the sound of his soft breath to the secure feeling of his heart beat, bare chest against her back, that Chanyeol was still fast asleep. Moments like these had slowly become some of her favorites, where she woke up before him.
After dinner, they had settled down on the couch for a movie. He never pushed her answer to his question any further, and her nerves were grateful to that. Chaeyoung didn't know what had taken over her when deciding to spill that he was the cause of her state of mind. Though, she had a hard time believing that he didn't know in the first place. He could make her moan and tremble in seconds, of course Chayeol had to have had an idea. Nothing got past him. But now she was back to this limbo of not knowing what they were and being too scared to define it, even as the answer screamed in her face.
They were like a continuing ten night stand it seemed, yet it all just kept feeling more and more real, at least for her. Getting scared of how she felt wasn't something Chaeyoung dealt with often. She liked to act all tough around Chanyeol, but everything was changing and it was even more obvious after their night.
Chanyeol was figuring her out when she herself couldn't even do that.
Chaeyoung didn't remember getting into his bed, she must have fallen asleep soon after the movie started. The last thing she remembered was brushing her pointer finger down his arm and over the tattoos contrasting against his tan skin. It was just a simple moment, watching a movie and cuddling into his side while his own finger tips drew circles on the bare skin of her thighs. It felt right, nothing had felt more right than him.
It was probably a good thing they fell asleep so early. They needed to catch up on sleep before their work week started. Sleep was rare in the culinary industry but even more so now that she had gotten involved with Chanyeol. Sleep was never on her mind much anymore.
Chaeyoung turned in his arms to face him, thinking the movement would surely wake him up but he didn't budge. There wasn't even a shift in his eyes or twitch in his lips. Her teeth pulled at her bottom lip to hide the giggle that tickled her in her chest.
"Hey..." She whispered, placing the softest kiss in the middle of his chest. Another close to his Adam's apple. One more on the edge of his jaw.
His biceps tightened around her, "Shh."
Chaeyoung grinned, wondering how long he had actually been awake. He looked so much less intimidating, his dark hair a mess and sticking every which way. She smoothed her hands into the thick strands. "We have work soon."
"The boys can take care of prep."
"Chanyeol..." She playfully whined, wiggling and creating space from his strong hold. He usually wasn't the stubborn one when it came to waking up, making her wonder why this morning was so much different than others. She propped herself up with her elbow as he rolled onto his back. "You have orders to place."
"Fuck orders." He mumbled, not even opening an eye as her fingers traced over his chest and down the line of his abs.
"And specials to pick for the week."
"Already decided." Her trailing finger danced over the band of his normal Calvin's.
Chaeyoung couldn't help herself, especially in his morning state with the husky, charming voice and his bare chest. "So, what I'm hearing is we have just a little more time." Her soft voice was weighted with want as she straddled over him.
