Flying troubles-

-lunch-

Throughout the entire day kids either made fart impressions behind me or laughed behind Jenny's back because of her new ears. Even as we walked into the cafeteria, this is getting ridiculous! Sooner or later, I'll done with this. "Hi Brad" we both greet him "uh, Jenny-" but he got cut off by Jenny greeting Stephanie. "Looking fine, Jenny" was her response back, but this is where I stop, I go to sit down by Brad. "Sorry, (Y/n).... no hard feelings?" Brad says and just plugs his nose and leaves along with Stephanie.

I roll my eyes and mumble "such a great friend..." that's when I hear Jenny's mom over a phone or something as she's trying not to laugh. "Well, before I go, I think there's someone I need to give a little credit for the new me" Jenny says to Sheldon. Sheldon just gushes a bit saying "it was really nothing Jenny, any brilliant, misunderstood, guy with unbelievable technical know-how would've done the same." I roll my eyes again at this, but hear Jenny say "I hear ya Sheldon" making Brit and Tiff laugh. "You got a gift for finding the art in technology" Jenny says as she holds her ears with a smile.

She begins to walk away saying "well, I better fly" which got my attention, so I stand up and say "okay, I'm coming with you Jenny." Hearing her name she turns around and says concerned "it'll be too dangerous (Y/n), just stay here." I scoff playfully and say "flying with those ears will be a little difficult, just let me steer as you fly. That's all I'll do, I promise" she rubs her left ear a bit, then smiles and says "thanks (Y/n), you're a great friend." With that she helps me onto her back and I put my hands on her ears as I prepare myself for flying.

'I haven't flown since being picked on growing up through middle school' I think nervously as Jenny gets close to flying, but Sheldon stops us first. "Wait, (Y/n)! You don't like-" Sheldon got interrupted by Jenny starting to fly towards the door. "Woah!" We both say, so I grab onto her ears and steer her back out the door instead of turning. We barely made it out he open doors, so I sigh in relief and Jenny says "nice steering" happily. I nervously laugh saying "no problem" with that we begin to go downtown for whatever's down there.

"Pull right!" Jenny yells as we get close to a lamp post, I nod my head and avoid the lamp post and towards the knight looking dude. Jenny then smirks saying "pull down then up last second" I nod my head, but feel nervous about pulling up. Sighing I do as she says and she lands perfectly well saying "okay Lancer, time to turn yourself in." With that I jump off of her and watch as people stifle their laughs once again, even though they're in barrels. Lancer was the one to laugh and get everyone laughing at Jenny, so I look at all of them shocked.

Jenny then says "what do you mean?? But everyone at school-" then she starts to rethink it over, probably realizing that everyone thought they're hilarious. Literal air came out of Jenny as she closed her eyes in anger and flew up a bit and aimed a laser at Lancer. He lifted up his shield saying "so you want to play rough, eh?" Then he got close to hitting both me and Jenny. She lifted me up and put me on her back again as he kept on coming, so she flew up each time. I grab onto her ears, but it didn't help when a sudden wind came by and blew us towards a building.

Luckily she got me in her arms instead of being on her back or else I would've been crushed between her and the building wall. Lancer turned around and threw his thingie and it got in the hoop earing of Jenny's right ear. Lancer then says "ah foolish mope, did you really think that a large eared bucket of bolts could stop the Lancer?" I look at the laser scared. "Uh, Jenny!" I say as she continue to pull against the thingie, eventually getting the bolts off her ear. She flew up with me in her hold and puts me back on her back again as she tears the other ear off.

I smirk as she says "care to do the honors??" I nod and grab her ear and throw it towards the laser, somehow getting it to split in two. Lancer looks down at the ear and then his whole suit just explodes.... leaving the money and valuables to fall. The town started to cheer at us, but when Jenny got back to the ground we see the helmet bounce a bit. Falling out came a little guy- who could've died from the thingie, but it just made his hat come off. His ears were folded because they are huge, he looked adorable, but everyone except Jenny laughed at this.

"Wanna walk home together??" Jenny asked while pointing her thumb, so I nod my head and we begin walking, but I notice the way we're going. "Jenny, are we going to Sheldon??" I ask kind of scared, she nods her head shamefully. "I thought I could return his ears to him, since I'm not using them" Jenny says feeling bad. In the distance we can see Sheldon sitting down on his porch steps, looking down sadly. 'Wonder why he's looking like that' I think concerned as we walk up to him "hi Sheldon" Jenny says to get his attention.

Sheldon looks up, only noticing Jenny, but says nothing as Jenny continues "sorry about the ears, they were great while they lasted-" "and they make great crime fighting weapons." Sheldon glared at me a bit for my comment, but Jenny agreed making him look back at her. This time his face was more guilty as he says "Jenny, I hope you didn't take any of that stuff Brit and Tiff said seriously. You looked beautiful in those ears" Sheldon says as he holds his own hands while looking up at Jenny. I roll my eyes a bit, but Jenny says "I know Sheldon" so I add "too bad they were destroyed during battle."
