The new friend-

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

I realized what I'm doing and nervously ask "i-is this okay?? I don't want you to be uncomfortable-" "this is great" he says as he actually starts to cry. A sigh escapes my mouth as I rub his back and shoulders with my hands as we still hug, but time went by. His mom yells from downstairs "get ready for bed you two! It's eight thirty!" We separate and grab clothes. I'm over at Sheldons alot, so I leave some clothes here in case we come here first instead of my house. "I'll change in here while you change in the bathroom?" I ask him, he nods saying "as always."

He leaves and goes to the bathroom down the hall, so I change quickly into a tank top and shorts, it's what I left here as pajamas. Once I throw my clothes in the clothes hamper, Sheldon himself walks in and says "swish" and we laugh. Sheldons mom knocks on the door once it closed and says "I forgot to tell you that the inflatable bed broke. Instead of fixing it, your father burned it in the fire this morning like the smart person he is. Hope that's okay!" Her footsteps fade as Sheldon and I look at eachother in the eyes and we shrug our shoulders.

"I'll sleep on the floor while you sleep in the bed" we both say together "no, I'll sleep on the floor, you sleep in the bed!" We say again and poke the others shoulder. We both blink a few times and say "let's just share the bed! We agree on so much, let's watch a movie." "Turn that tv off and sleep!" His father yells from downstairs, we laugh and walk towards the bed. We both jump into the bed and almost fall from the weight of the other jumping on the bed.

-half an hour time skip-

I wake up slowly to the sound of crying; it's Sheldon, but before I can even move, a knock comes from the window, we both sit up and look out. There's Captain Crush flying "you're flying!" We both say and walk over to the window, I didn't really know he opened the window. I realized once Jenny says "I had my mom fix it, she added an anti grav-gyro, I hope you don't mind." My glare on her continues as I watch her float up to the window "no, that's cool I guess." Sheldon is trying to play off what happened, but I ask "despite bringing Captain back, what're you doing here?"

She looks down at the ground saying "I, uh, never got the chance to say thanks for saving my life, soo... thanks, maybe we could hang out sometime. As friends!" She looks back up at Sheldon, ignoring my glare "friends?" Sheldon asks turning around. "Friends" Jenny confirms for him, she looks back at me "I'm sorry for hurting your only friend. Care to be my friend and we can put this hole thing behind us?" She asks ignoring the now floating Sheldon. I listen to how happy Sheldon sounds and sigh "I guess you're pretty cool, but I'll think on it."

Sheldon looks back at me with a smile "she's my friend!" He yells happily and flies into me while huggine me, I laugh as we fall and hug him back. "She really means that much to you, huh?" I ask happily to hide my sadness about his new crush. He nods and stands up, we look out at Jenny and she says "I don't think I ever got your name. I'm-" "Jenny, I've heard" I joke and laugh a little, she laughed too and says "well, then tell me your name." I side smile while looking at her saying "it's (Y/n), see ya soon?" She nods "I'll see you both soon."

She pushes Captain Crush into the room and flies off, Sheldon gawks over her and I playfully rolled my eyes "let's just sleep Lover boy!" He laughs nervously. It was probably from the nickname that that gang called him, but it fits him in this situation. "O-Okay, let me just figure out how the anti grav-gyro works!" He closes the window and looks over Captain. I roll my eyes this time and say "dude, last time you said you'd look over one thing, you stayed up all night. You're sleeping!" I pull him over to the bed by his wrist, but he whines like a child needing sleep.

"Sheldon, you're acting like a child right now, you need your sleep" I say and point at the bed once we reach it, Sheldon just chuckles and agrees. We both lay down again, but he just kept on being hyper "dude, you're so hyped on having another friend. Accept that fact and get sleep! At least before your parents tell us off for being awake past nine. You know what happened last time!" I whisper scold him, he got comfier and finally sounded like he was calming down. I smile and start to drift off to sleep just like him, but my dream wasn't the best that it could be.
