Just a hint, Wood, Fang, Sky and Dragon are the four Royal Bloodlines but Dragons are the strongest and most powerful. Pretty much the original.
I apologize for the long wait! Please enjoy!
Chapter 10
Andrew's POV
"The Lone Witch?" Benedict questioned, coming to stand by my side.
"So it seems." I replied, watching Meredith speak people.
Meredith was off, mingling about with the other Alpha's and Beta's. I had to admit, I was shocked she knew almost all of them. There were almost 8 packs here already and Meredith seemed to know them all.
I was standing off to the side of the room where I had perfect view of who entered the door but at the same time I had a perfect view of the people and of course, Meredith. I didn't like the fact that my mate was away from me, it actually hurt to be away from her. Even with so many guards and so many Alpha's and Beta's I was still unsure about letting my mate wander around but in the end I decided not to follow her too much. That didn't mean I didn't keep all my attention on her.
The meeting still hadn't started. Some packs were still missing and so was Royal Nicholas. Every guard was stationed outside along the perimeter. From what I've heard Royal Nicholas wouldn't show up until everyone did. The others were running late because of how far they were; if it wasn't for Meredith, we would have been late as well.
"I must say I'm shocked. I would have never guessed she was your mate. The two of you are so... different." Benedict commented.
I chuckled at his words but he was right. We were complete opposites; none of that mattered to me of course and he knew it.
"My my, you've brought quite the guest Andrew." I heard a light voice to my other side.
Benedict and I both turned to see Sheryl Mist, Alpha -or Luna if you preferred- of Celestial Mist Pack with a guard standing close by her side. As usual, Sheryl was beautiful. Sheryl had her snow white hair cascading down her back in light waves and was dressed in a loose blue dress that brought out her piercing grey-blue eyes. She had natural beauty though mostly from her bloodline.
"Sheryl." Benedict and I greeted, bowing our heads to her.
Sheryl tore her eyes away from Meredith and smiled politely at Benedict and I. "Benedict, Andrew. Always a pleasure." She replied, bowing to us as well.
Celestial Mist Pack was a unique pack compared to the others. Not only were their leaders female, but the males were the warriors or guards. Their pack was away from civilization, in their own area of land. No human could trespass or enter; even other supernatural creatures were unwelcome. It was most likely because they were-
"Half Fairy, half Wolf." I heard Meredith's voice say from behind me.
I turned around and felt my lips tug into a small smile at seeing her. Just her presence itself was enough to make my wolf howl with joy and my heart flutter in my chest. I knew that I would never get tired of her.
Meredith was staring at Sheryl with curious and interested eyes. I guess it wasn't everyday you met a Fairy-Wolf. It was such a rare moment to actually meet the Alpha of Celestial Mist, the first generation hybrids in our supernatural world.
A long time ago there were two mates; the male was a Fairy and the female was a Wolf. Together they created a pack. In the world of the Fairies, the women are the leaders and the males warriors. Till this day, the women have always been the 'Alpha' of Celestial Mist and the male warriors. In certain circumstances the male would be Alpha, however it would always switch back with the female to lead.
