Recruit rushed to the bathroom stall and locked the door. He continued the echo transmission from the ISAAC watch.

"Yes, I do have more of the virus. But I need to know what you are going to do with it before I let you take it." Aaron Keener with arms crossed stood in front Director 6. She was leaning on a desk.

"I am the director of team Rainbow. I'm not affiliated with any government if that's what you're thinking." she said.

Keener smirk, "I can go outside and find anyone who does not have trust in their government. You're going to need to be crystal clear about your intention with the virus if you want me to-"

"Ok," She snapped. "With this genetically engineered super virus, I can use it as a weapon against terrorists like the White Masks."

"Terrorists. So someone like me?"

"No. The difference between a terrorist and you, Aaron Keener, is that you are fighting for the people without guns. Without weapons. Without a way to defend themselves."

"Hmm. Okay. I like your view of things. I don't physically have the virus with me right now. Meet me at Liberty Island, and I will be glad to give you a nice amount."

Echo offline.

Recruit was stunned. In his wrist is the secret of all secrets. Was this meant to be on the watch? It must be a glitch.

Recruit is often the last to know about situations and mission briefings in team Rainbow. This time, he is the first to know.

What should I do? Who will believe me? Maybe this is an inside job by 6 herself. His head was banging with questions.

He closed his eyes and breath in and out. In his moment to calm down, he overheard Zofia's voice in the hallway.

"It's starting to become too crowded in here to be honest, Kali."

"I understand that," Kali said. "If it were up to me, I would terminate the operator whose presence is not needed."

"Ha. Like Warden?"

"Cmon, you can pick someone worse than him."

"Recruit? But he's the nicest person any of us have ever met."

"You're really going to waste tax money on a operator just because he's 'nice?'"

"You're right. If this was my team, I would only want the best."

Recruit slowly opened his eyes. He saw himself in the mirror. They're right. I don't bring anything to the table. He removed his goggles. He saw his eyes but didn't see a story. He put his hand on top of his head and removed his mask. For the first time he took notice of his hair style. Bald.

"I have to prove myself." He said aloud. "My mask...My goggles..." He placed them on the sink. "Goodbye."
