The great black wolf, Bruno to his friends, whom I had assumed was a dog was baring its massive teeth with its lips curled up snarling. It began gnashing its teeth at me in an attempt to attack me, I fell back a step into a crouching position ready either for a fight or more likely to pitch my self out through the boarded up window. The only thing keeping the wolf from forcing its way in and tearing me apart was the fact it shoulders were to broad for the narrow gap. The wolf suddenly went from growling to to letting out a surpised whine of pain.
The wolf disapeared from the doorway and and the girl yelled "Bruno out now!" I heard the wolf slink away and another door open and slam closed. I regained my composure pulling myself up. I returned to the door pushing on it testing the strength of the barricade then asked "Are you alright?" The girl answered sounding only slightly ruffled "I'm fine Bruno wou;dn't hurt me." She put some extra emphasis on me so I knew she could bring him back, a less then subtle threat. "What's your name" I asked . There was a moments pause then she answered "Rose." Another moments pause and then "Rose Fenris, god its been so long since I've needed a name it feels so weird saying it."
