harry's pov

"mozart was crazy

i listened to the voice of a girl who couldn't be older than 18 sing so clearly and peacefully as her fingers ran along the keys playing the notes. of course this is what i do on my day off, i listen to some girl sing for hours without even seeing what she looks like.

"cause you'll rock that recital

and get into yale

so you won't feel so sick

and you won't look so pale"

the music intensified and so did her voice. she gained power as the end of the song came and her fingers began moving faster and faster until they slowed for the ending.

when the song ended i immediately moved onto another video, clicking the one titled "seventeen acoustic"

"hi guys today i'm singing seventeen from heathers the musical, but this is kinda an acoustic version. enjoy!" the girl said the only thing visible being her hands strumming her guitar. you could hear the faint fading of a british accent mixed with an american accent.

i was in a trance. her voice was beautiful, it was impeccable. she had so much talent and it seemed like she didn't even know.

i couldn't help myself. i signed up and made a random account on youtube naming it "herewegoagain" a random lyric off of our new and upcoming album four. i commented on her video

my phone vibrated seeing a text from mia

i chuckled at her remark and exited off the mysterious girls youtube page

i couldn't keep the smile off of my face. this girl was so bright and charming. she seemed like the likeable one with a lot of friends and involved in so many different things. unfortunately, i doubt i'll ever get to meet her, but for now i can just stick to listening to her videos

while i had been messaging her i hadn't realized that she had uploaded a new video. i hurriedly clicked on it. it was titled "lifeboat"

she began singing and i immediately felt the pain behind her voice. the words coming out weren't just lyrics, they seemed like her life.
