I'll lay with you on the grass at night,
Watching the stars give out light,
So beautiful and bright,
It illuminates the dark night,
And we'll need no other light.
I'll make it our dancefloor,
Under the shining moonlight,
We'll dance till twilight,
Or even later till daylight,
And have the greatest night.
I hope we never fight,
And only remember the great night,
It'll keep away your fright,
And let your fire ignite.
I want your smile to relight,
Giving me delight,
That makes my heart glow,
To know that our love and memories flow.
