A/N: This story's background is inspired from an incomplete fanfiction 'Our Last Summer', by ElsieLorraine. She left the story after writing the first chapter on 'Fanfiction.Net'.
Most of THIS chapter's plot (not presentation) is hers. The rest of the chapters' storyline is MINE.
Ash and Misty are just there for the sake of it. So, if you are a Pokeshipper, please turn away.
All the characters' names are in Japanese.
Each chapter will be from a different character's point of view (I'll mention it at the starting of the chapter). This one is from Shuu's P.O.V..

And done! With the last word on his answer sheet written, Shuu's Science paper was finally done, with a margin of fifteen minutes for revision.
Seven minutes. Exactly seven minutes before it was all over - those days on which hands wouldn't stop aching, on which teachers' lectures wouldn't take a break, those stressful nights before exams.
Yes, that was it - his last day of collage - the end of it all. Now wouldn't that be great! No waking up early, no missing out on breakfast, no friend drama, no-
Wait!
The bell rang just in sync.
As he submitted his paper to the invigilator, it finally struck him.
It was the last day. Now everyone would be off to different places to find jobs - Satoshi, Shinji, Haruka, Hikari, everyone.
Wow. When did all those days end? Now all the years raced in his head like seconds. Was it really-?
"Shuu! What is the answer to this question?"
He snapped out of his thoughts and noticed Haruka gazing at him desperately for a reply. "Galileo Galilei. Seriously, only an idiot would ask me would ask me a question like that."
But the brunette was way too busy jumping with joy, to have paid attention to the second part of the sentence.
"Finally Summers! No more homework", shouted Satoshi, unable to contain himself.
Summers, huh?
"Can we go?", Shinji asked, bored.
"C'mon Mrs. Immature. Or are you planning to stay here the entire Summer?"
"Yay, Summer!... Wait... I'm not an immature!", Haruka defended herself.
"Yeah, right. I believe that", Shuu responded, in a voice dripping with sarcasm.
Dense people. He wondered if they even understood that it was their last Summer.
He picked up his bag and exited the examination hall, with his friends chatting all the way (except Shinji, that is).
Last Summer with these annoying people. Oh well, he might as well spend it with them.
Might as well spend it with her.
