Still Kyler's POV

She hasn't woken yet. It's been a week. We stabilized her and as far as the doctor can tell there is no damage done to the brain but she doesn't wake up!
I didn't leave her side since the second that I found her in those stupid walls of the arena. Never in my life am I ever setting a step in there again. She has taught me better already. We need to stop killing other beings before figuring if they have a mate or not.
I shudder when imagining how life would be if I had not been there in time. My wolf whimpers too at that thought.
I sigh and take her hand in mine. Gently I give it a kiss on the knuckles and lay down my head on the bed.
After about two hours an annoying beeping wakes me up. It gets louder and faster. Not good for werewolf ears.
Just as I want to look for the source of I feel something watching me. Immediately I turn around and there she is. Her big brown eyes staring into my own. Her gaze seems unfocused and she tries to free her hand from mine. I don't let her. She belongs with me at all times. A low growl utters from my throat and panic sets into her entire being. Frankly she tries to free herself and get away. Just as she wants to wiggle back and against the wall her face turns into a painful expression and tears start to strwam down her cheeks. A high pitched cry is heard and in an instant my wolf is sending emotions to calm her down and soothe the pain.

Slowly she looks up and into my face again, her gaze full of wonder. Then her head lolls back and she would have hit the wall if I didn't put my hand behind it.
Her heart rate becomes slower again and it is the same monotone peeping after some minutes.
Frustration sets into my body. I just wanna cry. Not able to take any separation from my mate anymore I crawl into bed with her and fall asleep with her head resting on my chest and the other part of her body snuggled up against mine.
