Well, guess what is finished! The bigger guest room! It has been a full 3 months, and I will tell you something, those three months have been amazing with the Bree’s. I feel like the have accepted me into there family. Well not like legitly into the family but almost like it.

Today was going to be good, I am going to meet some of Ridley’s friends at the mall! I can’t wait! But knowing me I will be my awkward-quiet self, for I am always like that when I meet new people. Jumping out of the shower I get my clothes on. You know the normal; Sleeping With Sirens t-shirt, really ripped black skinny jeans, don’t forget the bracelets, then black converse. With that outfit done, I dash down stairs. I greet Mr. and Mrs. Bree with a smile as I grab a granola bar, then heading out the door. I see Ridley standing at the end of the street with another guy. He has black hair and at the end was dyed purple, a Falling in Reverse shirt, at least six bracelets on his left wrist, and purple converse. I nod my head, this is gonna be good.

I stand next to Ridley, he gives a smile and introduces me.

“Tidal, this is Adi. Adi, Tidal.” very simple introduction, I like it. So his name is Adi, huh. Cool name, its nice and short. Doesn’t take up too much space when you put your name on the name line at school. Like where you fill the date and everything, yeah that space.

“Nice to meet you Tidal,” Adi says, and his voice, wow, he was definitely a screamer if he is in a band. Which he probably is. He turns back to Ridley, “so we are going to meet them up at the mall?” Ridley does a small happy dance.

“Yes!” he starts to run off toward where the bus will pick us up, Adi chases after him. I just stand there, wait. I roll my eyes and run after them, leaving me behind. Jerks.

I run all the way to the end of the block, I hear Adi come behind me. His hand jerks me back looking at him. His brown eyes were saying something..

“You know Gravel is going to be there..,” my happy face drops fast, “judging by that face, you don’t...” I feel everything drop. My happiness. My spirit. My feelings. Just all flushed down the drain, after one name. One huge memory. One huge mistake.

Gravel.

My ex.

I just mentally collapsed. With Tidal along, she will think something else! S-she won’t understand! I can’t bring her. Gravel will, ugh! I look back at Tidal, I see the smile on her face. I, I can’t ruin it for her.. She was looking forward to meeting everyone, and now she has to meet the person, who I thought once ‘loved’ me. But she was using me. Great.

Tidal comes up to us, Adi gives me a straight look; meaning be careful. We don’t need a cat fight. Or anything worse. But..

Tidal’s P.O.V.

I catch up with the others as the bus comes around the corner. Just in time, sweet. We all sit in the back and talk about bands, all those subjects to talk about. Concerts that were coming close to us, which by the way, A Skylit Drive and Sleeping With Sirens was coming up. Which I will gladly go to both of them, I find myself smiling to myself.

“You have a really nice smile,” Adi says out of the blue, I shake my head and lightly blush. My voice goes quiet and squeaky.

“T-thanks..” I say, I cover my mouth. Well, my voice sucks. Adi gives a small smirk, I put my head underneath my band t-shirt. I feel someone tazor me, I let out a loud yelp and fell into the alley. I hit my butt, I look at both guys and they are dying in laughter. I raise my eyebrow, oh they think that’s funny.. I flap them the pretty birds, Adi rolls off the seat as Ridley is crying from laughing too much.
