Ridley's P.O.V.
I hold my board in my left as we all run to the park, turning around I notice something. Tidal. Tidal wasn't behind us, I stop in my tracks. The others look back at me confused, but then.. there came a sound.
A gun shot.
Just when everything was getting settled down and back too normal..why now. Star is the first to start dashing back toward the house, then it followed CC and I went after. I almost lost her once, and I wasn't about too lose her again.
Getting to the door I bust it open and I see the familiar blonde spiked hair facing us. His white and blue plaid that was once clean was stained with blood, he..tried killing Tidal. At least I hope he didn't kill her..
"Evan!" I scream, Evan points the gun up at me. His once calm green eyes were filled with hate and yearning, his hands shook as he aimed at me.
"Ryan...you no good for nothing ex.." Evan hissed, I raise my eyebrow at his words. What does he mean by that? I take steps close to him, he kept his eye on me while I moved closer.
"Calm down Evan, put the gun down.." I say trying to calm myself down also, since I couldn't find where Tidal was. I have to get him in his senses first.
"Why the fuck would I?! After Gravel shot herself in the head cause you and that new girl made her do it!!" He screamed at me, I got quiet. Gravel, she killed herself. Because of me? But..I.. I didn't mean for her to go to that extreme.
"I..I'm sorry..I didn-"
"Don't give me sympathy Ryan, I don't need it. I want you and your girlfriend dead. That's all I want." he says fast, I shake my head.
"What will that solve? It wouldn't bring back Gravel. Just move on, Gravel wouldn't want you to do this." I say to him, he loads the gun stepping closer to me. My heart starts to race, faster and faster. Come on, stay calm Ryan. I get the barrel of the gun against my chest, Evan's eyes staring straight into mine.
"It will help me knowing that my sister's happy with both of you-" a shadow comes behind him, I can see the hairs on the back of his head stand up. He lets out a howl in pain as his arm gets bent in a very awkward angle. The black shaggy hair covers the persons face, they lean down and whisper in his ear.
"You better make sure to tie someone up right and make sure they are dead before you leave them in a closet," his face gets bright red and drops the gun from my chest. A bloody hand snakes around his throat and pulls him back away from me. I breathe out and watch Evan's eyes fill with fear. "now, go home and leave the gun here." Evan nods his head and they let go of him. He sprints toward the door and leaves.
Turning around I see who was truly there. Moving the black messy hair to the side I see the blue eyes staring up at me. I had to resist myself from kissing her face, I was just worried.
"Tidal!!" I hear Star yell and tackle her to the ground. I roll my eyes and sigh, I was going to kiss her Star! Stupid idiot she's my girlfriend! She lets out a grunt in pain as she hits the floor.
"Star..not now.." she whimpers, his green eyes draw away from her. I see the somewhat complete hole near her shoulder, it wasn't serious or deep, must have been a brush. But still.. I help her up from the ground, her bloody hand gripping mine tightly. CC comes up to us and shrieks.
"We need to get her to a hospital!!" he is the first to run out the door to a car, meaning my parents car. Oh dear, I'm the only one who could drive it. All of us slide into the car, taking a quick glance over at Tidal's shoulder I meet up with her eyes. They were in pain. That's all she has ever got since being with us, pain. Suffering. Agony. It doesn't seem fair.
Putting the car into reverse we get out of the drive way and into the street. I feel a soft touch, looking down at my hand I see her small hand clutching mine. I know that what I was about to do wasn't safe, but I wrapped my fingers around hers in return. Turning on to the major highway we head for the hospital.
