Y/n's pov :

We had finally caught and recruited atushi nakijima the shy boy who had to fight a lot to enter the agency. I took a liking to him after his entrance exam ,dazai on the other hand was annoying the hell out of everyone at the agency , quite a normal environment for everyone except atushi the poor kid was freaking out that's when I decided to speak up

"Oi dazai cut it out your being extremely weird to our newcomer right now"

Dazai just chuckled

"Oh my dear y/n I would love to quiet down if only you would go on a date with me"

I was losing it but then god knows what came over me and I regretted the second the word blurted out

"Sure"

At this very moment
I was confused
Dazai was confused
Atushi was confused
Ranpo was confused
Yosano was confused
Even the fucking birds must have lost it

I nervously got up from my seat and tried to make myself look a little more understanding at the moment as I spoke

" yes dazai lets go on date since your a-always d-dying for it and im kind-da annoyedd"

Boy did that turn out wrong everyone started laughing their asses off and my face turned extremely red but once I caught dazai laughing my whole world stopped, the laugh was so pure and gentle he looked amazingly cute I mentally slapped myself for the silly thought and broke into small giggles myself .

"Okay everyone back to work"

yosano demanded calmly

Soon we all started work again but my mind still lingered to the "what ifs" and my heart would feel empty yet again, this was going to be a hard life if dazai wouldn't leave cause I really have no control over my heart after all the pain and development I still have no control over this stupid heart and it hurts every time my mind decides to take a trip to past memories
