City's POV:
Dana and I were backstage waiting for our number to be called. Maddie and Marcelo were backstage, hanging out with some other dancers.
Marcelo gave me a thumbs up and I smiled. Maddie just rolled her eyes and I pretended to ignore her.
"Ladies and Gentleman, please welcome group number 2343 with "The Other Side". Dana was supposed to walk in during the song so I walked on stage alone.
As I got to the middle, I see Gabe, David, Alex, Will, Cole and Lily in the front row. They all smiled at me as Gabe and Alex took pictures like I was their little girl at her first ballet recital.
The song started playing and I danced my heart out.
