Chapter 2: 4 Years in Chicago

*4 Years Later*

City's POV:

Well it's been 4 years since my uncle's wedding. 4 years since I moved to Chicago. 4 years since Gabe and I became best friends. 4 years since I gave Gabe the biggest clue I have ever given to anyone about my big secret.

He was now in L.A. living his dream. Lily was in Miami still going to school. And I was in Chicago going through hell ever day. Uggghhhhh why is my life so fucked up?

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing. Damn! I check the time. It's 6 damn 30 in the morning! Who the fuck is calling me now?! I check my phone and realize it's Lily and Gabe. I answer still half asleep.

"SUP BITCH!" yelled Lily through the phone.

"WAKE YOUR ASS UP!" screams Gabe

"Is this you guy's shitty idea of a wake up call?" I ask still half asleep.

"Yep" they said in unision "Jinx, double jinx, triple jinx!" they still say in unision.

"I swear you two sound more related then Gabe and I do! And it's 6:30 in the morning, why did you two wake me up so early?" I said annoyed.

"Well,1.lazy ass you have your last day of school so-" I cut Lily off.

"Ughhh don't remind me!" I say still annoyed.

"And 2. our flight leaves at 3, so we shall be there around 5:30 hopefully. But I won't see you until tomorrow at 10." says Gabe.

"Oh yeah, I forgot you and Lily are coming today."

I remebered Gabe's band hosted a singing contest. Basically you send in a video of you singing and if they picked you, you got to be the opening act for their Summer tour! Apparently Gabe was on a date with his girlfriend Alex, who is an absolute sweetheart, when the guys picked the winner. So all Gabe knows about the winner is that he or she is supposed to go to my school. So IM5 is supposed to go to my school and suprise them at my dance tonight.

Since the guys are going to be there and Gabe refuses to ever let me meet them for uncertain reasons, I can't go to the dance tonight! It's bullcrap really! And even my parents agree so it's upsetting. The girls at my school love IM5 so I listen to a lot of their songs and seen some pictures. Their H-O-T, HOT! Especially the one with the snapback...

"Hello? Earth to City!" Lily yells snapping me back to reality.

"Sorry. I can't wait to see you guys again. I have so much-"

"VERONICA!" I hear my little 11 year old brother, Nicky scream.

"Got to go the devil is calling." I tell them.

"Okay Ciao my darlings!" says Lili.

"Ciao my sisters!" says Gabe.

"Bye my homies!" I say.

I hang up and immediately run downstairs. I see my little brother sitting on the counter eating cereal. "Morning Panda!" he says using the nickname he gave me when he was 6.

"Morning little bro." I kiss his forehead and grab some cereal. I quickly chow down my cereal before rushing upstairs.

I take a quick shower and throw on my jean shorts, my crop top sweatshirt that says 'Wild N Out''. I put my signature bandana headband on and put on of my Dum Dums lollipop in my mouth. I get my backpack and run downstairs.

"Bye little bro, have a great day at school. Oh, and be home early Mom and Dad want to talk to us about something." I yell at him on my way out the door. I hear him yell 'bye' before I grab my skateboard and start going to school.

As I ride there, I think about everything Lily, Gabe and I have been through together. Before I realize it, I'm walking up to my group of friends, Jesus, Tito, Sasha and Laura.

"Yo City! What's up?" yells Jesus as they all tackle me with a group hug. I laugh at them as we start to walk to Math.

"Nothing much. Just getting ready for the Summer!" I say hugging each of them.

"I know! I heard that it's going to be a cool Summer!" says Laura jumping up and down. "I can finally wear my starpless floral beach dress!"

"Also it's not going to rain tonight. So you guys should be good for the dance." I say smiling sadly.

"I know! I can't believe your not going, it's bullcrap your cousin won't let you go just because their going to be there!" says Sasha .

"I know it's bullcrap! I wish there was someway I could go because come on! YOLO!" I say. Me, Sasha, and Laura giggle.

"Hey how bout we sneak you out tonight! We can pick you up while your parents are sleeping and well drop you off before Gabe sees you! Come there is going to be drinks, dancing, plus I heard Odyssey High is trying to sneak in tonight! We need your help to kick their ass at a sing off!" Tito says.

"Come on please." says Laura and Sasha in unision. Now all four of them are begging. Jesus is on the ground now.

"Okay what the hell! I'll do it!"

"Yes!" they all say each doing a happy dance.

"Okay, come one you weirdos let's get to class. We can't be-" I was cut off by the dropping off my notebooks as I bumped into to Madison Guniro.

"Hey watch it! Ohhhh look who it is. It's City and her hood squad!" says Madison.

"Oh look it's Bitchy Blondey!" whsipers Laura.

"What did you say?" asks Maddie's sidekick Chloe.

"Yea she just called her Bitchy Blondey, whore!" says Sasha

"Ohhh hell no!" says Maddie before handing Chloe her designer bag.

"Oh it's on now!" says Sasha taking off her hoops. Sasha was about to lunge at Maddie before Tito and Jesus grabbed her.

"Put me down!" she yelled as she struggled to get out of their grip.

"Ohhh trust me if they weren't here I would beat your ghetto ass!" says Maddie. You can see the fury in Sasha's eyes as she tries not to straggle Maddie.

"STOP IT!" I screamed. "Maddie, you and Chloe have messed with me since the first day I got here. I'll you ever want to do is pick on people smaller than you. Well, guess what?! I'm not gonna deal with your pretty, princess ways. You can mess with me all you want, I don't give 2 craps but the minute you lay a finger on anyone I love, all hell is going to break lose on your ass! Because I been through hell, and I walked out with a smile so you are N-O-T-H-I-N-G!" I say spelling out the last part.

Everyone looks stunned, even my friends jaws drop. I take the time to strut out of there feeling like a big bad bitch!
