Chapter 25: Goodbye

CITY'S POV

Oh my God. Oh my God. OH MY FUCKING GOD!

This can't be happening, I just turned 16. I'm too young, too irresponsible, I can't do this.

I rushed out of my room and ran down the apartment stairs. I ran towards the new Fiat 500 Gabe got me for my birthday. I immediately got in and started to drive towards the boys house.

'Shit, what are my parents going to say? What is Dana gonna say? Hell, what is Gabe gonna do when he finds out?!'

I finally got to the boys house and pulled into the driveway. I opened the door to their house. They was no one awake because it was like 8 in the morning.

I ran up to Dana's room and softly knocked. "Dana are you in there? We need to talk?" I heard slight shuffling and moving.

"Dana please. We need to talk." I heard even more shuffling so I checked to see if the door was unlocked. Luckily, it was. I opened the door and found my worst nightmare right in front of my eyes...

"Maddie?! Dana?!" I yelled. There I saw, my arch-enemy Maddie and the true love of my life in bed together, naked.

"Hi City." Maddie evilly smirked.

"I swear Veronica, it's no what it l-"

"Bullshit!" I yelled. "I thought you loved me. I thought you wanted to be with me. But no. You rather have a fake, slutty Barbie than a real woman. You know what?! I'm done!" I grabbed the promise ring off my finger and threw it at him.

"Please, Veronica I'm sorry!" He yelled, grabbing my wrist. I struggled free.

"Let go of me. Its too late." I growled. I ran out of the house, hearing yelling from the other people in the house.

I ran all the way back to my apartment, into my room and curled up into a corner. I dug my head into my knees and began to cry. I cried my eyes out.

"Veronica?! Veronica?! Where the hell are you?!" Gabe yelled.

"V? Please come out! We just want to talk." I heard Lily say.

"In here." I cried. Gabe and Lily came rushing into my room. Lily crouched down next to me and began rubbing my back as I leaned my head on her shoulder. Gabe started angrily pacing around the room.

"I can't believe he did this! I trusted him with your heart and he still hurt you!" Gabe yelled. I looked down at his knuckles to see them bloody.

"Gabe, what did you do to him?" I cried.

"I taught him a lesson." he growled.

"Here Gabe. Let me clean you up." I told him. I walked towards the bathroom and grabbed a towel. I made sure to wet it before rubbing it in Gabe's knuckles. He hissed and gritted his teeth to the pain.

"Gabe why did you do that?" Lily asked.

"Because he's a douche player who thinks he could get away with everything. He needed to be taught that people have feelings." he growled at her.

"By the way V, not to be mean or rude or a terrible friend but," she said nervously. "Why were you at the house at 8 am?"

My face went pale white. "I ha-had to tel-ll him so-someth-hing im-import-tant." I stuttered.

"What was it?" Lily asked.

"I can't." I muttered.

"Why not?" Gabe growled. I looked at him and rolled my eyes. "Hey! Don't roll your eyes at me, tell me what the hell is going on!"

"Gabe I can't! Your going to kill me!" I screamed at him, sitting down in my bed.

"V, don't talk to Gabe. Tell me." Lily spoke softly. "What were you going to tell Dana?"

I started to cry. "Lily? Gabe? If I tell you, will you not yell at me?"

They both nodded in response. "Okay. Um, were-re do I star-rt." I stuttered. "For my birthday, Dana took me out. Then you know, we stayed the night in a hotel." I can see out of the corner of my eye Gabe growl and cringe in disgust. I rolled my eyes again.

"So actually yesterday, I was feeling a little stomach sick. I ran to the drug store to pick a few medicines when I saw it sitting there. It was in a bright pink box and I thought 'Could it be true?' so I grabbed the box and took the test at home. I got the results and they tested positive..."

"Veronica." Gabe said worriedly.

"I'm pregnant."

A/N Hello my sweeties!!!!

I'm sorry that will be the official end to Stay Strong!!!! And trust me, I'm not gonna leave you like this!!! So the new sequel to Stay Strong, 'It's Been A While' will be up soon.
