~ Areum's POV ~

Round 2: Bulletproof Girl Scouts

All contestants will be training to get ready for our first round/competition. This round will be focused on self-defense, more specifically boxing. All contestants will be trained so no one gets majorly hurt after training is concluded we will have our first competition. Whoever wins will, of course, stay in 'The Heir'. The specifics of this competition will be discussed today by the King and Queen in the Throne Room at 3:00 pm. Best of luck!

"I thought this was a competition where we needed to seduce Jimin, not box for him! I just got my nails done!" Yuen-hee complains

Eunha rolls her eyes "Oh no you just got your nails done? Well, I just got my toes done, what do you think I'm gonna do?"

Yuen-hee huffs and stomps away and is quickly followed by her bitchy friend group which included the twins from Porrrnesian Parrrapio town.

"Wait... So we're going to meet the King and Queen today?" I questioned

Hyuna looks down at her outfit and shrieks "Why the hell did I wear this outfit then?! Ugh, I have to go change!"

Hyuna was ready to run out of the room however Jin grabbed her by the wrist and playfully dragged her back.

"I'm sorry Hyuna but the King and Queen will actually be meeting you right now since they have other meetings set for later. You should have thought about your outfit choice before you left your room. Rookie mistake."

I winced at Jin's harsh words and glared at him trying to get him to tone it down. But despite my glaring, he shrugged his shoulders and turned to lead us out of the dining hall and into the throne room. Yuen-hee and her followers made sure to be at the front of the group so they could make a good impression while I lingered in the back not wanting to bring any attention to myself.

The King and Queen immediately stood up when we entered the room and both welcomed us in with huge smiles on their faces.

"Good morning everyone, I hope everyone had a goodnight's rest. Today you all will be going through intense training for the upcoming 'Bulletproof Girls Scouts' boxing competition." The queen chirped.

"This training will be very important if you want to win, and not get severely injured. So I suggest everyone pays attention to the instructor and gives their hundred percent! The paper that was posted in the dining hall had mentioned that the winners would stay on 'The Heir' but what it forgot to mention was that the winner would receive a special reward. The contestant that wins first place gets to spend 24 hours with Prince Jimin! That should push you all to try even harder, now that you know what is on the line. Your training starts today so please go change into appropriate clothes and meet downstairs in the front courtyard! I hope everyone does well, have a great day." She cheerfully says

~ Time Skip ~

All twenty-five contestants were lined up outside in the front courtyard, and in front of us was a small boxing ring. I looked at the other contestants and they all had decided to wear some very provocative athletic wear, whereas I had just stuck to some black athletic shorts, a white tank top and had tied my hair into a high ponytail. I looked up and saw that a tall male had walked into the center of the boxing ring. He had dark brown hair and he had an adorable boxy smile.

"Hi guys, I'm Captain of the Guard, Kim Taehyung, and today I'm going to be your trainer for this upcoming round. Before we can get to boxing we need to warm up our bodies so let's do some stretches."

Taehyung led the group in some easy stretches, but what I found annoying was that some of the contestants, mainly Yuen-hee, complained that they needed help and then they would end up stretching provocatively in front of him. I could tell Taehyung was uncomfortable because he would walk right away and help the girls that actually needed help.

I decided to bend down and touch my toes but what came next surprised the shit out of me. I felt a pair of hands on my hips causing me to jolt up and turn around coming face-to-face with Park Jimin. I instantly pushed him away but his grip on my waist tightened bringing me even closer to him.

"Jimin let go," I said with my teeth gritted

Jimin smirked and shook his head, "Damn princess, this outfit looks really good on you but, it would look better on my bedroom floor."

I huffed and shoved him off of me and walked away towards the rest of the group. I could still feel his eyes fixed on me but more importantly on my ass. I stood next to Hyuna and growled lowly catching her attention, she looked at me and mouthed 'what's wrong?' which I just shrugged too.

"Okay, now that we're all warmed up I'm going to ask for a volunteer that would like to join me in the boxing ring so I can demonstrate some techniques," Taehyung said whilst giving his signature boxy smile.

Since no one raised their hand Taehyung decided to pick on a random contestant. His eyes scanned through the group and his eyes locked on my figure. He pointed at me and I reluctantly made my way past Taehyung. I ducked under the ropes so I could get into the boxing ring and was immediately followed by Taehyung.

I bent down and stretched my back. I turned my neck from right to left and popped it with a series of clicks. I then continued to do the same with the rest of my body, loosening up the rest of my muscles. I turned to look at Jimin and saw that he was watching me with an expression that said 'I can't wait to watch you make a fool of yourself'. I glared at him and then turned my head to meet Taehyung's gaze.

"Don't hold back Taehyung." I snarled

Taehyung paused warily and then he smirked. He stretched the muscles in his back and then turned his attention to me, with a quick flick of his hand as if to say "Come on." he threw the first punch, the fight was on.
