Chapter 5.

Priya's Point of View.

I woke up quickly; i couldn't have been asleep for that long.

It felt like a minute, my need for sleep still feels unbearably high.

I kept my eyes tightly shut, hoping that it would help me stay in my dream world.

A world where all my friends were alive and well.

A world where none of this crap happened.

A world where we didnt know of the ouija boards existence.

I know that we dont have any proof that the ouija board caused all of this, but it seems like a reasonable assumption.

Sighing, i accepted the fact that it was no use. I had to deal with the real world.

The world where my friends were slowly being killed one by one.

I opened my eyes just in time to see lesley padding up the stairs with a panicked look on her face.

She looked creeped, man.

Whatever, we all are.

I let out a huff of air and just listened.

Listened for some kind of sign.

A sign of lesley eating, or using the bathroom, or something.

But i heard nothing, but an intoxicating silence.

But then i heard it.

It was quiet, almost unnoticeable.

But i noticed it.

I heard Lesley gasp.

I may not have been much, but with all this sh** happening, who knows.

I slowly stood up and listened for another sign, a sign of normality. Something that showed Lesley was ok.

But all i heard was nothing, just that eerie silence again.

Growing more and more suspicious, I tip toed over to the stair way. I gazed up it, but all i could see was a shadowy figure.

I peered around the room, trying to find a decent weapon.

There. In the far corner of the room there was a pool table.

Silently running over to it, I grabbed a pool cue.

I made my way back over to the stairs and stealthily made my way up them.

Walking over to the kitchen I could more clearly see the man.

He was about the same hieght as me, and I could see the back of his blond hair covered head. He was holding something - or someone - down.

Taking a step closer, I realized exactly what he was doing.

He was holding Lesley's head in the sink.

A sink filled with water.

He's drowning Lesley.

How long he has been doing that, I dont know.

But what I do know is that I need to stop it.

Now.

Holding the cue up in swinging position, I inched myself closer.

Attempting to make my voice sound menacing I let out "You step away from her, now!"

The man let out a grunt and tossing Lesley across the room, he turned his full attention to me.
