Nashville, Tennessee, three weeks ago

Margie

The new coffee shop that Margie had found since all the girls moved to Nashville was better than anything they had back home in Hollywood. The atmosphere was cozy and the coffee was amazing. Every day when she was free of customers she'd go in and get herself a mocha with an extra shot of espresso, just because she could. It was the one thing that helped her make it through her days at the moment.

Building up new clientele in a new city can be tiring at the best of times. She had found a cute little beauty shop that was very posh for the area, and was excited when there was a booth to rent. The salon was in the heart of the city, so even though she was new, business was excellent. But to get the repeat customers someone in her line of work needed, she had to be sweet, funny, and talkative all day long.

Addison, Lynn and Tia wore scrubs all day; there was no need to look glamorous at work when all you do is take care of sick people. Margie, on the other hand, had to look the part of a hairdresser who happened to know what she was doing. A woman doesn't go back to a stylist if it looks as if she just rolled out of bed every morning before she came to work. So every day she took the time to make sure she was done to perfection.

Every day she dressed completely chic, in high heels, to cut, color, wax, and style hair all day long. The one thing that she cherished was her quiet time in the coffee shop next door. She'd go in after all her clients were done for the day to get her coffee, then find a comfy place to sit, pull out her phone to check out the latest news on social media, and then...slip her heels off under the table. Pure heaven!

It was around seven when Margie had finally finished with her last client after a very busy day; her cell started to ring on the way to the coffee shop. When she looked at the number she was surprised to see Addison's name.

"Hey, Ad. What's going on?"

"Oh, not too much. But, well, I did want to ask you a question."

"A question about what?"

"Well that's the tricky part. Because, you see, if I ask you and you don't lose your mind, then I know Lynn won't go psycho on me when I ask her..." Addison answered.

"Wow, is it something bad?" she asked.

"No, not bad. Maybe just a little...hard, for all of us at the moment," Addison said, but hesitated.

"Well, shoot, now you have me curious. Just tell me what it is, and we'll take it from there," she answered, getting ready to enter the coffee shop.

"Okay, so... I wanted to know what you thought if Dax came to Tia's and my weddings? Now, I know what you're thinking and it would just be Dax, and he promised me that he wouldn't tell anyone else," Addison assured her.

Marge stopped walking, confused by the question. "Dax? Dax Cox, our Dax, from-the-band Dax... Jimmy's best friend Dax?"

"Ah, yeah..."

"Oh my goodness, Ad, why are you talking to him, and how in the world does he even know when you're getting married?"

"It's really no big deal but, he texted me a couple nights ago..." Addison began.

"What, why?" Margie asked once again, stumped over this information.

"I don't know, Margie; I guess he just wanted to see how I was doing. Why are you making such a big deal over this, I mean Win was there and knows all about it. I made sure it was okay with him before I called you."

"Oh, my, gosh... I sure hope Win knows about Dax texting you," Margie blurted out, then stopped.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Addison chided.
