Jones
The flight that Jones and the others flew on into the BNA airport was delayed. When they finally landed and made it to the car rental place, the woman who was supposed to help them was so starry-eyed she kept screwing up, and that had Nickels grumbling under his breath, trying to keep his cool.
Dax was so pissed that he was going to be late for Addie's wedding, he drove like a madman, making all their asses pucker tight while grabbing hold of the seats and praying they would all make it there in one piece.
Jones, on the other hand, after the long flight, didn't mind being a little late. The thought of seeing Margie had him more nervous then he'd like to admit. When he first found out about Addie's wedding and a chance to talk to Margie, he thought this was a great plan, to go along with Dax, but now he wasn't so sure.
What was he going to say to her? How could he make her come back to him after she'd really left him? Then there was the fact that Dax never even told Addie that he was actually going to show up at the damn wedding!
The directions said to turn right, and Dax squealed the tires as he rounded the corner. "Shit, man, slow the hell down!" Nickels growled.
The small yellow house with the address they were looking for had cars parked all around it. Dax found a free spot, then threw the car into park and looked down at his watch. "Shit, we're so damn late!" he growled, getting out of the car and sprinting to the front door.
Howie pushed the seat up so he could climb out, and shook his head. "That man still has it bad..." he murmured, glancing at Jones and Nickels.
Nickels sighed; Jones just shook his head along with Howie and they followed Dax, who was already knocking on the front door. "You know they have to be home," he told the guys.
"Just open the door and see, man," Jones told him.
Slowly Dax pushed it open, but the place looked completely empty. "Hello, Addie? It's me, Dax. Are you here?" he called out.
"The wedding must've already started," Jones told him from behind.
"Shit, then let's go fucking find it," Dax growled.
They walked through the clean and neatly decorated place to see chairs outside the sliding glass door and people sitting in them. The four of them made it to the slider and looked into the back yard at the minister finishing up the ceremony.
The first thing that Jones noticed was there was more than one couple getting married, and his heart started to race, thinking it might be Margie up there with Addie. But then he saw the white-blonde hair and realized it was Tia underneath the veil. Addie and Tia were having a double wedding.
Right then it hit him, and he glanced back at a shocked and confused Howie. "Hey, Dax. Did Addie say anything about Tia getting married?" Jones asked.
"No, she didn't say anything about it in the text," Dax confessed, looking over at Howie. "But like I said, she didn't say anything about anyone else being invited to the wedding either. There might've been a reason for that."
When the ceremony was over Addie and Tia turned around with their new husbands, and that's when they all saw what was up with little Tia...and the baby she was carrying. Howie's hands grabbed his blond hair in shock. "Oh. Fucking. No. Way!" he shouted, glaring at the tattooed guy that held her in his arms. "No, no, no, no! What the hell is going on here, that's my woman!"
People came up to kiss and congratulate Tia, and she was all smiles and seemed really happy, but then her new husband kissed her. The anger could be felt from where Jones stood and the heat generating from Howie was intense. "Maybe we should just head out now, before the shit goes down," he told Nickels.
