Meanwhile, Queen Ami was now in the Monarch's Suite along with Minato, her lynx-point husband. Eva and Yasu, as well as Chouko and Sosuke, who were all in the room earlier, have relocated back to their own rooms before Ami made her entrance. The room was also sort of dark, as the burgundy curtains were covering all the tiled windows though it was still daylight outside, and all the floor lanterns had their lights dimmed.
The Tenneko monarch was sitting on a rather large zabuton in the colour of pink. There was a large but opaque stone that seems to be projecting an image on the other side of the room, right on the wallpaper. The projection was showing a surveillance of Malorie, Tia, and the other seven Onmyoujin, who were at the town square next to the gates leading to Omori Palace's hill.
Minato looked at Ami, his wife. "Darling, I've heard of a prophecy...and it was from the spirit of one of your ancestors."
"What?" Ami's ears perked up as she heard the mention of an ancestor of hers. She turned to Minato with a concerned look on her face. "What did they say?"
"They said something about a curse that will bring an evil mist and that three stars will rise in the upcoming twilight, clearing the mist the darkness bestowed upon us." explained Minato.
"Oh." Ami was puzzled for a moment. "It's always just like those riddles; you have to solve the prophecy in order to get the answer."
"I guess we have to find out who or what are the three stars," replied Minato.
"Or why are the three stars," Ami put on a mischievous smile after she thought of another interrogative word to use.
Minato snickered. "Ami, you crack me up."
Both their heads suddenly turned when a jingling noise was heard, which seemed to come from a small circular mirror atop a nearby wooden storage box.
"Minato, can you fetch me the mirror, please?" Ami asked her husband.
Minato nodded and rushed over to get the mirror, and as the jingling stopped, the reflection of the himself morphed into the face of someone quite familiar to Malorie...an elderly anthropomorphic corgi with curly silver hair, sapphire-blue eyes, light makeup, and quite fancy accessories such as the pearlescent earrings and necklace as well as a little fabric rose clipped in her hair. It was indeed Lilie.
"Oh, who's this?" Minato wondered as he came back to take a seat next to Ami. He passed the mirror over to his wife so she could take over the conversation.
Ava smiled. "Ah, Lilie! We meet again!"
"It's very nice to meet you once again," replied Lilie. "Is my granddaughter Malorie alright?"
Ami nodded. "Yes, she's doing very well. I'm monitoring her journey via the Shinnui Heart."
"I see."
"According to the projection, Malorie and the others have encountered a...ugh...oh..." Ami's explanation was interrupted by a throbbing headache she started to have. She could both feel and hear her heartbeat quickening as the pain in her forehead had gotten worse. It was especially horrible now that Ami was getting old.
"Your Majesty? Ami? Is there something wrong? What's the matter?" Lilie was now riddled with questions to ask the Siamese queen.
"Ami!" Minato jolted as he scrambled over to help his wife.
"My...head..." Ami suddenly felt the room spinning around her, with Minato appearing to whirl around and around. This vertigo made Ami drop the handheld mirror on the tatami mats, which was a great thing as it did not crack or shatter its glass. Through the mirror, Lilie appeared to be startled.
