Chapter 13

I've been here for quite a while I've studied the basics of magic. Since I've absorbed the magic particle light thingies I immediately skipped page 1 of the book I'm reading. The book is entitled Divine Magic with a gold highlight it looks pretty old and it was dusty. But it seems like it's special since it was in a seperate bookshelf. The bookshelf was made from a sacred tree in this land and also has golden linings on the edges of the bookshelf.

It seems like someone has been here before not only one but many. It shows claw marks in some parts of the bookshelf, it was even tainted with blood in some parts! This bookshelf has been raided.

I wonder why there was blood here and why was there only one book remaining. I have so many questions but none to be answered.

*sigh*

I sighed and carefully read the second page of the book.

Chapter 2 - feeling magic
'After absorbing the orb-like things. Try to feel the magic like wild boars chasing you, like a lion that is so hungry it would not even leave your bones to rot and become fertilizer, like mosquitoes sucking your blood until you're all dried up, and like poison surging through your veins while slowly killing you. But somehow try to feel pleasure from this feelings. Only then, can you find your inner strength.'

I don't really understand it. Does it have to do something with me suffering? ackk!  I dont friggin' know! The room slowly faded and the books slowly fell. Leaving one book remaining— The book that I was holding. My sight slowly got blurry until I could only see darkness. I was awake but couldn't open my eyes.

Third Person's POV
Rose's butterfly like eyelashes flickers and reveals her crystal blue big doe eyes that suit very well with her blonde hair, pointed nose, slightly pale red lips, and also porcelain skin.

She looks around and found no one. She found a note lying on her bedside table.

Dear Rosie,

        If you wake up and found no one with you, don't worry because me and your father is currently busy with work and dealing with a lot of the town's people.

She smiled thinking that her parents were very responsible. 'I'm pretty sure there would be a lot of ruckus from the commoners because father haven't been able to do his work because of the many assassination attempts.' Rose sighed at her thought. 'Am I forgetting someth-THAT'S RIGHT SHIRO-ONII FAINTED!' she panicked a little and grabbed her blanket and threw it on the bed. She then wore her soft slippers on and dashed to her brothers room.

UwaAh I'm so sorry this chapter is short I'm doing my very best to provide you with chapters but there's not much things that inspires me because of the lockdown.
