Lan Wangji had just finished playing inquiry for the day. (For you know who) Leaving the Jingshi, he decided to go for a walk. Breathing in the crisp air in the cloud recesses he eased his mind off the thoughts troubling him. He was bathing in silence till the sound of small footsteps and squeals came in his direction. Turning towards the sound, Wangji caught glimpses of two white blurry things barreling his way. Until they stilled and he finally took a good look at them. Lan Jingyi and Lan Sizhui stood in front of him, huffing and puffing. Lan WangJi's only response was

"Noise and running is prohibited in the cloud recesses"

The juniors bowed in apology, however still seemed to be anxious and jittery about something. Lan Wangji was about to ask when they both latched onto one of his legs and tucked themselves into his robes as to not be seen. A familiar voice spoke up. Lan Xi Chen walked up to his brother.

"Have you seen JingYi and SiZhui?" Lan xi Chen said in his usual cheery tone, a light smile plastered on his face.

"We're playing hide and seek, but I've lost them"

Lan Wangji looked at his brother and replied with his infamous "mn". The children hugging his legs tensed, they were going to be found out! Lan Wangji then continued "No longer here" Lan Xi Chen with a little pout started to move away from Lan Wangji with a quick turn to his brother again he said "Then it's back to searching"

After Lan Xi Chen was a good distance away. Lan Wangji opened up his robes that concealed the two boys. The boys looked up with bright eyes and smiles. Both boys hugged onto Lan Wangji's legs once more and then walked out to find a new hiding space. Before they were too far from Lan Wangji, SiZhui turned quickly and bowed. Jingyi forgetting completely what had happened already found a new hiding spot.

Time Skip to After WWX's Reincarnation

Wei WuXian was strolling along the gardens at cloud recesses his husband not far behind him. When two junior disciples popped out from a bush beside him. He squealed and was about to scold them.

The two spoke in unison panic evident in their voices.

"Senior Wei, Please hide us"

Both attempted to crawl into his robes. Wei WuXian squealed again. Lan Wangji stood behind him recognising the scene to be very familiar and soon enough the seeker had bounded up to them.

Jin Ling POV

Jin Ling was confused upon his arrival the two juniors had run from him saying "Were playing hide and seek, You're the seeker"

How on earth was he going to find the two in cloud recesses, he hardly knew the place. He needed help, and there was only a few people he knew that could. Hesitating a little he went around looking for Wei WuXian and Lan Wangji. It wasn't hard finding the only person wearing black and red robes in this sea of white. Upon arriving in front of the pair of husbands he realised something was odd. Wei WuXian who was usually squirmish stood so still to the point where you would think someone had put a paralysing spell on him.

"What do you want with our children?" Wei Wuxian said jokingly still not moving a muscle

Jin Ling has to find out why he was so still today. His question was answered very soon. As Jingyi who had lost his balance under the robes came toppling out followed by SiZhui. Jin Ling trying to contain his laughter said

"Found you!"

Wooo! It's done

Extra:
Lan Wangji who was standing and watching the scene unfold in front of him, was a bit envious that he had been replaced by Wei Wuxian. However upon hearing Wei Wuxian's jest. His heart felt warm and his ears started to twinge a slight pink colour. "Our Children" he liked the sound of that.
