So basically this imagine is similar to the plot of frozen 2 like Elsa hears a voice and need to find the voice and about the past

Summary: reader has ice powers (like Elsa) and one night she has a vision and dreams about her dark past which her memories were wiped of her past and unleashes the elemental spirits Bucky who has been trying to propose to reader Go on a mission to find the truth about her past and where her powers came from and the dark truth.

Any warnings? Nah just kinda dark, angst and some cute awkward Bucky xD

You've always been ashamed of your powers and never had control your powers, you had ice powers and you had them for years and years. You had a hard past your mother was killed when you were a child, you never have met your father and so after your mother was killed which were by hydra agents you were kidnapped and took you to a place far away, the experimented you, wiped your memory so you wouldn't remember your past and you got powers, they never trained you to use your powers and so you never had control over them and caused you to hurt a lot of people and cause a lot of damage, they turned you into a monster, everyone was scared of you and hates you and so you were ashamed of your powers.

You were with hydra for about 20 years, you were 10 years old when you were taken and one night you escaped and lived in a tiny abandoned apartment for about 5 years until one day a man named Nick fury found you and told you about the avengers, he brought you in and introduce you to Captain America and the whole team and you were apart of the avengers.
The avengers became your family and they did know about your powers and helped you control them and about you being with hydra but they didn't know about your true past and you didn't either and so you never talked about it.

You were apart of the avengers for almost 3 years now and not long after Steve brought in Bucky Barnes who was also apart of hydra and was the winter soldier, after his memory came back steve brought him to the tower and he joined the team. The moment you two met you both fell for each other, it took awhile for either of you to make a move since you never knew much about love and you were scared to hurt him with your powers and he was afraid to hurt you from his past of being the winter soldier or hydra coming go get you but as soon as he finally confessed you were a couple and have been for about a year.

One night you were sleeping in your shared bed with Bucky and all of sudden you got a weird dream
It was a flashback of your past

You were laying in your bed with your mother telling you stories about the elemental spirits and singing you lullabies "now get to sleep my darling"
Your mother said softly "but I like these stories I want to know who the fifth spirit" you whined "there will be more tommorrow" she said "Hey mommy? What happened to father? What was he like?" You asked you have never met your father, your mother has always said he left along time ago but he was keeping a dark secret from her.
