So this is a GAY My Hero Academia Fanfic featuring BakuDeku ship (may throw a few other ships in there but idk yet lol). ANYWAY! This is an Omegaverse fanfic but everyone still has their quirks, the only difference is everyone is ALSO either an Omega, a Beta or an Alpha. Also, everyone in this fanfic is 18 or almost 18. There will be smut and fluff, so I didn't want it to be weird.
Omegas are people who are seen as the "bottoms." They go into heat once a month. When in heat they can only think about one thing *wink wink* but can take medication to suppress it (suppressants). An Omega smells delicious to Alphas when in heat as well, so they take their suppressants to keep themselves safe. Once mated to an Alpha though (a promise made between the two and then the Alpha bites the Omega and they consummate the pledge) only that Alpha is effected by the Omega's heat. They are usually seen as shy and weaker than Alphas and Betas, and any gender can bear children. They are who Alphas usually choose to mate with.
Betas are people who are not Alpha or Omega, they are neutral. They do not go into heat and the scent of Omegas in heat doesn't really effect them. They tend to mate with other Betas and are middle class citizens, not seen as weak but also not as strong as Alphas. Most of the population are Betas.
Alphas are people who are seen as "tops." They are powerful and extremely effected by the scent of Omegas in heat, especially if they have feelings for that individual. They are usually leaders, people who are confident and attractive. Once they mate, they are fiercely loyal and protective, and they mate for life. Once they choose a mate, they are ONLY effected by their heat and no other Omega's. Because of this, many Alphas choose a mate early on in life, especially any Pro Heroes who are Alphas, otherwise every Omega going into heat would distract them. (Same goes for Omegas, but the opposite- they choose a mate young so they don't have to fear any Alpha they come into contact with when in heat)
