Hello! I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for reading this fanfiction.
I know it's been a bumpy ride with the fic going on hiatus for 2 years. I wasn't sure I wanted to finish this fic at the time I discontinued this fic. My interest in Haikyuu faded and my motivation to write wasn't there, so writing this fic wasn't something I could do at that time.
At the beginning of this year, season 4 was starting to be released, and I decided to watch it because I remembered how happy I was watching Haikyuu and I was hoping to find that joy again. However, I was doubtful that I'd get back into Haikyuu again.
I was wrong.
Season 4 ignited my enthusiasm for Haikyuu once more, and I've also had a lot more motivation to write and create content. I continued this fic, have written headcanons and matchups on Tumblr and have made a lot of Haikyuu edits on my Instagram.
I'm sorry that this fanfiction took so long to continue, but I thank you for your patience.
I really appreciate the support this story has received and I hope to have your continued support as I write more fics.
Please note that the chapter "Icarus" is not how this story ends - I have a plan to send this story off feeling more complete. Stay tuned!
I plan to start another Haikyuu fic soon, though I haven't decided on a title yet. I hope you'll have a look when it's released.
