"And let's have a round of applause for our Class of 2015!"
Graduation. I've never felt so alive. I stood in the middle of the crowd and watched as the red and white steamers feel down like raindrops to the ground. This is actually happening.
"Hey Jacob, come take a picture with us." My friends shouted from a distance.
"Okay."
Rayan. My best friend since Pre-K. We always talked about this day, but we never imagined how good it would feel. In the third grade we made a promise that when we graduated from school, we'd never leave each other.
But that was controvertible considering that he would be traveling the world a lot over the summer and every during college. I'm gonna miss him. But no sadness now, I just graduated!
I stand in the front right next to Ray as he pulls his phone out.
"Okay everybody say, FIFTEEEEEEEN!"
"FIFTEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!"
Ray snapped the picture and everyone fled away with their families. I walked with Ray.
"Bro! Can you believe we fucking graduated today?" he asks with his hand over his face.
"I know. Like where does the time go? It left us all to quick."
"Do you have any summer plans?"
"Well I would buuuuut, somebody's gonna be traveling to who knows where." I say nudging his shoulder.
"Ahaa. Come on Prince it's only half of the summer." He says calling my nickname since middle school.
"I know, I know. I'm just gonna need my best friend around. It's gonna be all lonely and shit."
"Seriously dude, we need to find you a girlfriend, and quick."
"Now you know I'm not the relationship type."
"I still don't understand how Prince. Do you not see all these girls around here?"
"Yeah, I'm just not ready for a relationship."
He just stared at me. "You sound like a lil' bitch."
I started to laugh. We made our way through the crowd and found our families. Since me and Ray were bestfriends our families were always together. So basically we're all like one big family.
After getting someone to take us a big family photo, I start to have a weird feeling. Like someone was on standby watching me.
I look up and I see a guy staring at me leaning against the building. He looked a little taller than me with a pair of sunglasses on. He also had a graduation cap and gown on so of course he graduated with us today, but why was he staring at me.
"Hey you guys? On my eleven o'clock there's a random guy looking at me."
They all look in that direction while I face the opposite way.
"Jacob baby, no one is looking at you." My mom says. I turn and everyone looks at me in confusion.
"Yes there is he's right there leaning against the. . . . wall." I suddenly grow a demented look on my face.
"Wha-what. There was a guy with sunglasses leaning on that wall."
They all started laughing.
"Prince, are you okay?" Ray asks wiping away his tears from laughing too hard.
"I don't know. Maybe I'm just hungry. "
"Hell, you ain't said nothing but a word lets go eat. Hey Prince?"
"Hmm." I answer walking to the cars with the family.
"Maybe Sunglasses with be there to look at you eat huh?"
Everyone started laughing again. I'm not crazy I know what I saw. Or maybe I am just hungry.
"Whatever Ray."
Who was that. I know someone was there. They think I'm delusional but I know what I saw. He was there just looking at me like I was piece of art at a museum. I mean I know im the sexiest thing to ever walked this earth but still, why would he be staring at me. This is really gonna bother me.
We all got in our cars a drove around until we found somewhere to eat. Ray got in the car with me, our families drove in seprate cars.
"So what are we gonna eat?" He asks
"I have no clue but hopefully something quick. I think I'm gonna die of starvation while we're on the road." I start to imitate a dying person.
"Say man, don't play that shit. I will jump my ass out this car."
"Calm down Ray, scary ass."
"Okay Sunglasses." He snickered I just stared at him.
"PRINCE!" He shouted "Eyes on the road."
"I know I'm not crazy, that guy was staring at me." I say focusing back on driving.
My car phone starts to ring and I press the answer button on my wheel. It was Ray's mom.
"Hey boys. Do you see anything you wanna eat?"
"Oooo let's go to Ihop!!" Ray said bouncing up and down like a child.
"Alright. I call everyone else and let the them know."
We drove a little while longer becuase we wanted to go to an Ihop that was closer to home. We then pulled up at a red light.
"Okay, it's getting kinda boring.. TURNUP!!!" He yelled blasting my car radio.

Then suddenly everything happened all to fast. All I remember was trying to move out of the way.
News Report:
Breaking News! Today a hit and run on Crimson Dr. And North Ave. He left one dead and one clinging for life in the hospital. People a saying the two boys currently graduated today and they were on the way to celebrate with their families.
Okaaay so here's the first chapter. I wrote and updated it last night but it was tooooooooo short because I was toooooooooo sleepy. Buuuuut yeaahh.
