I woke up from the frightening dream I was having. I tried to adjust to my surroundings but something just didn't seem normal. After a moment I noticed I hd no clothes on.

"What the hell? Where am I?" I asked myself.

All that I remember trying to protect Jacob then I blanked out. Jacob.

"I wouldn't worry about him that much. He'll be here soon." A voice said in the open.

"Who's there?"

"Hahaha. Oh come on Chresanto, you don't recognize me?

The figure became more clear, and I wasn't surprised a bit at who it was. I mean all of this is because of him. The only thing I stood in confusion of is the whereabouts of my clothes. Why would he have me here naked?

"No surprised to see me eh?" He asked breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Where are my clothes?" I asked him.

"You didn't answer my question." He said with a smirk upon his face.

"Why would I be surprising Mr. Lopez? All of this happened because of you."

"Not so sure about that Chresanto."

What the fuck is he talking about? His anger of Rayan and Jacob being friends is what cause all of this to happen. Which I still don't understand why. They've been friends this long and nothing has happened, why is he still mad?

"What are you talking about?"  I questioned.

"All of this, is because of you."

"Because of me?" I yelled. "How and the hell is this because of me? You're the one that continues to try to kill Jacob because of you hatred of him and Ray being friends. . . . and where are my damn clothes?"

"You honestly think this is because of Jacob don't you? Well it's not. It because of you. You're a double breed." He said avoiding my question about my clothes. I'm about to slap his ass senseless.

"What does me being a double breed have to do with any- Ohhh?" I said realizing his plan.

"Yes Ohhh would be correct." He said mocking me. "An immortal like me would never be able to pass through the gates unless. . "

"Unless they sacrifice a double breed." I said finishing his sentence. All this was coming into play now.

"The day that Jacob was kidnapped in the woods behind his house was a set up. You knew I would try to save him. Too bad you trap didn't work. But you, knew it wouldn't work. Which is why you showed up at my outhouse, which I don't know how because someone of your kind could never find the house unless. . . Ray. That bastard. He showed you where I lived. That's why he said he'll 'take care of you'." I said putting quotations around that. "He told you our plan and where exactly we were going. It's kinda fucked up how you turned his mom against him. That's why you were talking to her the day I saved Jacob. But what I still don't understand is why would you try to kill Jacob if you were after me?"

"Oh Chresanto. You really don't know do you?" He asked.

"Do tell."

"I know hiw much you fancy Jacob. And if a double breed mates with an angel or another double breed then the double breed becomes a full angel."

"But Jacob's neither one of those." I said.

"Come on Chresanto I know you're smarter than that."

"Well let's say for times sake that I'm not smart, could you still tell me what the hell you're talking about?"

"Fine." He said." Jacob's mother is a demon. His father was an angel. On of your father's best friends actually. Jacob's father was killed by Jacob's mother a while back. A-"

"That's a lie," I interrupted. "Jacob would have found out he had powers sooner."

"Let me finish. Anyway. Jacob's mother hid their world from Jacob. She didn't want him to be apart of it. So there were never any signs of him having powers, which he does. He just doesn't now he has them."

"So basically you're telling me that the only way you could pass through the gates is to sacrifice me. The reason you want to kill Jacob is so me and him don't fuck to ruin you plan." I said.

"Wow! You really are smart."

I instantly started laughing.

"What's funny?" He questioned.

"Here's my plan. I kill you right here right now. Then I kill Ray and find my sister and Jacob and we make it through the gates safe and sound."

"I'd love to see you try."
